Love the scarf SueB. You've done a great job and it will certainly come in handy now with the weather we got
  • Those ears are just right for the body I'd made, just sat here and made one to check lol so I now have a body and an ear... lets hope it's another snowday tomorrow so I can finnish it :)

I've started teddy unicorn. My tip of the day.....avoid using snowflake wool until you are an expert which sooooo does not describe me! I've gone up to a 6.5mm hook just to be able to work with it. I can't see where any of the stitiches are so I'm just stabbing the hook in blindly.

Oh....and my fingers hurt because I'm literally ramming the hook though the work :D

This is gonna look soooooooooooo good :rotfl:

He'll be a 6 foot mutant teddy unicorn! I'll have to make the horn out of cast iron before I'm finished just to get the size right

    Exaggerate? Me? Never!

kind of like using feathered wool!! why do we do it???? :rotfl:

I am using normal wool to do a nice teddy and where I am trying to making all the stitches tight my finger has a sore patch!!!!

Good luck, i cant wait to see it.
  • Hey guys! So glad lots of people have bought the Art of Crochet mag too :o) I just started mine last night with the practise wool, seems to be going okay so far.

Does anyone have some good websites to buy yarn/wool/general crochet supplies from?
