  • Evening,

So still no list attacked. I so need a boot up the bum.

But on the upside, I'm making min payments on 3 cards but the 4th I am happy to say I am making an over payment. I also have money from this months pay that needs to be paid, but i've still underpaid myself so need to get that sorted at the end of the month.

Apart from that nothing else to say. All very, very boring.

    I'll pop back in tmmw.

Night everyone and I love you all for being here.

  • Ola,

All is quiet. I got a PPI rebate from B'card so that is helping a whole load with that balance.

Hoping to just pay money into cards as and when I have it, I'm getting into a habit of holding onto the money and then borrowing £10 and not always paying it back. So I found out from the dude at B'card how I can pay extra without having my statement. You know how when you cut your card up it makes if difficult to pay it off in branch!

Nothing else to tell, have finally paid myself all of Sept pay. It should have been done at the start of the month, but this month it's serious knuckle down and get my act together and stop faffing around.

    That's all to report.

    I'll see you tmmw.

    Night and lots of love,

    LL xx

    Hello,

Going to make a payment tmmw on one of my cards. Capital One to be precise, but this bit gets complicated, to pay into my account without being stung on bank charges I need to do it thru barclays, and as i cut up my barclaycard, I need to pay into barclaycard cc too. But it'll only be £5 into barclaycard. makes it all look good.

So that's me for today. I am seriously hoping to get Capital One gone by x mas.

    Night.

    Afternoon,

This tin that is sitting on my desk is killing me as I so want to open it. I might just actually have too as I need to lodge money into the scalifax. I also need to hope for a miracle so that i can get money back into the business account. It's all juggling balls at the min and my hand eye co-ordination is not very good. Plus I had a client cancel on me today. Aaaggghhh.

I'm off to the beauticians, and I know what you are all going to say about an expense etc, but i am making trips last me 5 wks and I normally go every 3 wks for an eye lash tint. I look shocking without them tinted and I don't go out or smoke or drink so i'm afraid it's my one vice that's staying.

So that's it. Still seriously thinking about opening this money box. I have another one on the floor that I can use. Resistance that's the key....i think!!

    Talk to you all tmmw.

    Be good.

    Hi LL,

Have just read your diary all the way through, phew!

I think you're doing so so well and that's great with all the PPI that you've claimed back.

Have subscribed so I can keep up! :)

hi, just catching up after a week away. Are you able to pay your credit cards online? it may help you when you're trying to pay off C One. You've probably got a really good reason why you're not doing it this way.

I feel a bit sorry for your mate, if she's that tired all the time, maybe she has a medical condition. Have you advised her to go to the doctors?
You can definitely grow apart from people: just because you used to be 'best mates' doesn't mean you still have a lot in common.

    Hi there
Well done on making the extra payment. You may be away from here but at least you keep coming back and getting back on track. Some people never do!

I was impressed with your PPI claims, nice way of reducing the balances on the accounts.

I don't know what work you do, but could you fit mystery shopping around it to give your income a lift? As you are self employed you wouldn't have this hurdle to jump

    good luck with your challenges

She has, and there is nothing medically wrong. So while I feel sorry for her, she is doing no exercise and in turn i think not getting her energy levels up. Sounds a bit harsh I know, but she isn't even walking to the shops.

I gave in and opened it. OMG there was some weight in it too. It was just under half full and there was £68.53 in it to be precise.

So I have another piggy bank started and it has about £12 in it at the min, I also have another tin piggy bank on the go and it's only for 50p's. So when the royal mint run out you'll know where to come!
