Day 3 back in the diary and i'm still here, although it is hard tonight. really hard.

Today I found out that my ex is getting married tmmw. Gutted, not cos it's not me marrying him, but because he still has a home, job and no debt and I have no home, a new business and lots of debt and I'm not seeing an end to any of my problems. Plus I watched money matters on BBC 2 tonight and at the start of the programme I was optomistic about the future and by the end I was ready to sit and cry. But then I have no money and a lot of debt and I know I'm in the minority of the population, it's just cos I'm always on this site that I think everyone is as skint as me.

So I have vowed to do the following:

Set a budget and stick to it
    Keep a spending diary
Do a car boot sale a few times a month - off to see one tmmw night to see what 'items' are sold at it. Mightn't get as much as ebay, but when you take into account ebay fees etc it might be a better option. Plus I might get rid off my trashy novels for 50p each.
Religiously send letters to all of the CC companies who haven't responded to me yet
And finally start dating again. Well that one I am going to leave until after Christmas, my head just is not in the right place to date at the min, but after hearing mr ex is getting married, I've just realised that it's nearly 3 yrs since I dated!

So that's it. I still need to tally up the debt as it stands at the min, which I will do by Monday, then I will calculate how much I need to pay each month to clear it by July 2011. I so want rid of it by then it's not funny, my biological clock is ticking so loudly I feel like my heart being ripped out every time I see a baby. But I want my baby, i don't want to leave this so late that I can't have my own kids.

So i'm off to knit another present for my many fertile friends ( 3 more babies due at the last count).

Night and maybe by tmmw I will be in happier form.

    Thanks for being here.

Aah well at least on here people understand why you drive to night's out and prefer to shop in 20 different supermarkets for your grocceries becasue you are being MSE!
Hope you're well and in better spirits.:)

    Hi,

I wasn't very clear (always happens when I am tired) I meant to add that there seems to be people living hand to mouth, but not having horrendous amounts of debt (whatever each person classes as big debts), such as me.

    HI,

So been mad busy at work, working long hours, which is great as the weight fallsoff me and I loose my appetite. So mad busy working all of this week and I think that the rest of this year will tough going as everyone seems to be really holding onto their money. I on the other hand am throwing mine at my debt!!

So haven't done much re the debt total as I have been so tired when I come home, but on the plus side there is weight falling off me!! Yay!

Right off now to do some work and I probably won't pop in until Friday.

Have a good day / Evening.

    Hello,

Mad busy at work and it always feels like you are working for nothing, but sure the weather is good and it's nearly pay day.

Nothing much to tell expect I need to get back into ebaying and saving money again. I also need to chase up all my letters to CC's for various requests previously sent and not answered.

The holidays are just finishing here so everyone is still holding onto money or else is skint until they get paid on Friday. And any night there has been a car boot sale on it's been raining, JOY!

So nothing else to tell expect for the first time every since I had my LBM I am going to have to dip into my OD to pay my CC bills this month, So not happy about that, but there has been no extra money coming in and I foolishly used the amount I had put away for the min payments expecting to get some extra money and it hasn't happened. But I will know for next month. So a lesson learned.

Really busy working again this week and I'm hoping to get some overtime, but it's as predicatable as the weather forecast.

So off to do various chores and hang out the washing, oh the high life!

Also just been watching the news and it's 2 yrs until the Olympics start. Seems like no time at all, but i'm sure there will be days when it feels like forever away.

    Night everyone and talk soon.

    Afternoon all.

Managed to pay my CC bills this month, major miracle in it's self. So lesson learned on that one. Only paid the min, but paid something and also will make a real effort to over pay this month. I'd written down ages ago a time frame to pay off each CC, you know the whole how much to pay each month etc, but over the last few months that's been abandoned. So need to get that back up and running and work towards that illusive JUly 2011 target date.

Nothing else to tell other than come Monday my EGG loan is paid in full and that is one debt gone for good! Yay!! Next debt to tackle is Capital One, CC balance is down to about £1800, so if i get a wriggle on and throw everything at that then it can be paid by Christmas. That's the plan!

Off now to buy some veg to make dinner, don't know what to have, ever get like that...you're just numb about what to choose for dinner and to be honest could happily not eat, but you know you need too?

    So off to the greengrocers.

    Talk soon.

God I'm bored. So bored and not motivated or maybe i'm just irritated that I'm skint and in debt. Plus the Mother nature express is in town which does nothing to help the old depression factor.

On a plus note a friend mentioned to me the other day about the colour of my nail varnish, which is mad blue. I happened to mention that I am making the bottle of nail polish last (i've got it about 3 yrs and am making it last!) and i said I found it hard to get another the same shade although a really expensive brand had one and I couldn't justify a tenner on a new bottle. She said to me just go on and treat yourself. If only!! Gone are the days of spending a tenner on a nail polish and not batting an eye lid about it. I wish now I could sell a bottle of nail polish for a tenner and use it to pay off my OD!

Need to ebay some items as I found a few rouge ones lying about that could be sold and raise some pennies.

I did try so hard yesterday to have a NSD, but fell superbly by the way side although I have drastically cut down on the amount of coke I am drinking.

Plus, totally forgot, yesterday I paid off my EGG loan!! So pleased, one more debt out of the way.

Anyway I shall go now and start photographing items for ebay and I'll pop back in tmmw.

    Hello,

Got a few hours extra at wrk this month so I am hoping to make over payments on CC. Really, really want to get 2 got rid of before Christmas. Goodness I am saying that word in Aug!!

I've alot on this month in work and alot of family things going on too so it will be tough to get extra money in, but I'm kindof really eager and motivated to shift some weight and some debt!

So this is my first month Egg loan free. Trying to decide to throw that money at a CC that has a APR or a CC that has the interest frozen at the min. MSE head tells me to throw the money at the APR card and make the other wait. They helped me get into this mess in the first place, so they can wait until I have enough money to get back out of it again!

I also have a lot of odds and ends to tie up with CC that I sent letters too and they haven't followed up on. So I need to get back on that bandwagon and chase them up. I also have some things for ebay / car boot sale. Not sure wether or not to ebay and then car boot or car boot first. Ebay kind of sting you with fees, whereas car boot is just a fiver in. Dunno about that one at all.

So I will go and start some letters to various theiving institutions and I'll pop in tmmw, off work tmmw so no excuse not to get things done.

    Night.

    Back again,

Still totally unmotivated, can anyone tell me why post offices close half day on a Wed? Such a strange thing, esp as the Roayl mail isn't making any money.

Anyway, I really really need to get a shimmy on and get letters off to cards, been so so lazy.

I have some extra work tonight which is nice, all adds to the over payment on the old CC.

I really want to get rid of Capital One card, so might make over payments on it only and just pay the mins on others, but I'm really really impatient and I know it will drive me mad not being about the reduce the others as quickly as i'd like.

Spent some money y'day in town. Bought some items that were 3 for 2, bout 2 dvd's that were reduced and also I had a £2 off voucher. Bought beads to make a b'let. Need to mark some NSD's in my diary as I need to focus on not spending any money for a while.

I'm busy most days for the rest of the month with work, which is nice as it means that I can't go off on a drive or into town to spend money that I should otherwise be throwing towards other debt.

Think I might do the car boot sale on Sat am and whatever doesn't sell put it on ebay.

    Anyway that's me for today.

    See you soon.
