Hi,
Nearly at the start of a new month and the start of my new budget. Very strangely excited!! How does that work?
Off to bed as I'm away for a few days with work and I'll not have access to the net when I'm away.
See you soon.

Oh God,
I haven't been on here in days, feel really guilty but I've been busy with work. I have so much to do it is scary. So many fiddly loose ends to tie up, you know the things that take ages sorting out.
Been alright on the spending front, I've been trying to curb spending, but it's hard at the min.
No money from this month set aside for Xmas yet. I could only manage to pay myself a little bit this month, so as the month moves on I will pay more and in turn can fire a whack at COne.
Nothing else to say, except it's raining here and I might have to wear boots to work tmmw!! Yikes means having to get the polish out tonight and knowing my luck I'll have no heels on my boots have will have to totally re think my work wear tmmw.
Off to get all sorted for tmmw, I'll be back on Tues.

Hi LL, well done for staying so focussed, you have a lot of CCs/loans to deal with but I reckon you've taken at least 6.5k off your debts this year so far, so very well done and keep it up!!!Debt at IVA agree date 1/3/08 £28k (reduced to £18,900)
Amount left 08/01/11 = £7560 (60.00% cleared!)
[STRIKE]IOU to mate £1500[/STRIKE]
Money saved £150

Thanks DebtFreeDan, I may have knocked £6.5k off but it doesn't seem to be reducing at any speed. Blooming interest rates!! Aiming to get COne paid by Xmas.
Nothing at all to report today, except I sliced the bottle of moisturiser in half to get the remains out, but it's something I always did. Being really tight an using body cream as moisturiser for my face, but it's simply pure laziness as I can't be bothered to scour the shops for a cheap good quality moisturiser.
Off to start dinner.
Talk tmmw.

Back again,
All is quiet here. Still no lottery win, talking of which I must check last nights no's.
I may have forgotten to mention this earlier, but i have a money tin that requires a tin opener to get into it. Every night I empty my purse of all coins under 50p and put them into the money box. The smart thing would have been to tally up the money each time it went in....No, that would be clever and so not me. So I now have a tin that I am gagging to know how much is in it and other than opening it, can't find that out. Aaaggghhhh! But I am opening it at Christmas time and will probably be counting loads of coppers.
Off to check my bank account and swear to myself at the lack of money in it.
Till tmmw, MSE friends.

i've got one of those tins as well, which is full of 10p's. I've been wanting to open it but also want to save it towards a dog that i'd love to have. At the moment i just can't bring myself to open it.0

OMG Lemon Tree, it's pure torture. Who knew a tin could drive you so insane. I suppose you have been uber organised and counted up the 10p's as they went in. The tins hold £700 in £1 coins. I've taken to shoving a stip of paper into it and marking it just to see how far up the tin the money is. Needless to say it's not very far up.
Nothing else to tell, need to chase up a clain I have with the Post Office over a delayed parcel. It was months ago that I sent the claim in and still no word. I also have a claim for an ebay item that didn't turn up. Need to chase that up too.
So off to bed and I will chat tmmw,
Night.

hi, no i've not been organised so i don't have a scooby as to how much is in there. It's very heavy and probably about 2/3rd full if not more but i still can't bring myself to open it. I have been obsessive and given OH an earful when he's put anything other than a 10p in there lol0

So as the title suggests two of my closest friends are rattling my happiness at the min and not for the same reason.
Married mate is just a pain in the rear at the min, she's always tired and makes a point of always telling me. Only answers the phone when she can be bothered to talk and has just generally become a very weird person who I also think may have a drink problem. The drink problem is hard to establish as we live a good few hours drive away from each other. But the constant moaning abut being tired. OMG I want to sream at her to shut up and get on with it. She won't go for a walk or do anything to get her energy levels up again and it's at the point where her husband is also saying to her about always being in bed at 8pm. I've mentioned that if she's not careful he'll wander, but apparently he won't!! ( I hope he doesn't, but somehow i'm not so sure)
And the single mate, I do love her and she makes me laugh out loud and she also owes money so I love her even more (she knows what it's like to be skint), but she's intent on setting me up with a guy.
No-one gets it that i'm happy being single, happy it's just me and no-one else to mess up my emotions or have to think about. I love it being just me at the min and i will someday find someone, but at the min i'm in no rush. He'll appear when i least expect it. Bit like the last man I fell madly in love with. He literally turned my head the night I first saw him, all 6ft and 1inch of him. Tall, dark, handsome, funny, loving bloke that he was. Yes he broke my heart and it needed superglude back together again, but I loved every min of being with him and if I never meet anyone again I won't mind. I had something that some people wait their whole life for and never find and I was lucky to find it. Maybe I will again, but at the min i'm happy trucking along (and trying to pay back my debt!!)
So that's it. Rant over. And the married mate is still bugging me as I'm wondering if you can grow apart from your best mate.
Min payments only this month again but I've short paid myself this month so maybe I'll be able to pay extra next month. Here's hoping.
Off to watch TV for a bit, as usual I have things to do but seem to find excuses not to do them!
Night,
Lots of Love.
