Longstanding lack of motivation - how can I break out of this rut?

I'm really impressed you're able to run for an hour, how did you build up to it, just keep trying to run a little further each time or did you follow a plan? I'm trying to build up to 30 mins at a time (have got up to 8 minutes before I have to take a walk break), but the snow has stopped me for a couple of weeks and I wasn't consistent with going out running over christmas at all. I've seen a 5k race advertised in my local area in March, I'm really hoping I'll be able to run the whole course by then. I completely agree with the sense of achievement and the feeling great about yourself!0 -

Hello All
Just popped on here as my lot are all watching the Dambusters! Peace and quiet for a bit!
Did 15 minutes today in pantry and chucked out lots of empty packets etc. Also did a quick shuffle round so I can see what I have - got all the veg together and lids on tupperware boxes - v. tedious but it looks great and has inspired me to keep it tidy. Also freed up room for recyling to be kept in there.
Oh - requests for hot chocolate coming trough so better dash - see you later.
