Well, things just seemed to work this time.

Move is definite definite now. The new girl paid her deposit so I need to pack tomorrow and move as much as I can. I will also get the 2 weeks rent money back which is brilliant!

    Hiya all!

Move was not very well organised, but that's all my own fault :o.
Friday got most packed and did 3 runs. On the first one I got help unloading, second one I did all by myself and 3rd one BF helped.

Saturday we went to Pen Y Fan just in case it wasn't raining there, but it was, so abonded that one and headed straight back home. :( Back about 11ish so decided to go to town for a bit. Then I was supposed to go home, clean my room and do the last load. But spend ages in town and bought a gorgeous new dress from Monsoon (from Xmas money so totally allowed ;)). Then had to go and pay new rent and rest of deposit and then back to old place for my leaving 'do'. One of the guys made food, soup to start with then roast chicken and I brought the pudding. And plenty of drinks. I didn't drink much, but had a match the next day so didn't want to either. But obviously did nothing more on my room.

Sunday as I said, had a match, well two as it's triangular, and as we were at home, we played first and third match. Was home half 6! And then had to clean and pack rest of stuff which took longer than anticipated, as always and was finally at new place with all of the stuff in at 10pm!!! By this time was shattered and texted line manager to take Monday off. It was a wise move as had a lie-in, but still had loads of time to sort stuff out and the room is starting to take shape. Loads of boxes still, but will do more tonight.

Well, that's the moving part done. Though this month will be really tight till next pay day, I've managed to secure some money for extra CC payment so went online to do it and the sneaky *&%£$*&! have lowered my minimum monthly payment for this month (Thursday) from £40.90 to £28.93!!! How can they do this??? So payed the difference and the extra, but not very pleased with there actions.

It's nice and quiet. Like the cats. Have finally met landlady as well, she's ok. Flatmate is fine. Room is nice, just needs sorting out. Funnily enough, it's really made me think about future and what I want to achieve. It's a stop gap, but better than the last one.

Yes, I've decided this year is the year of change. I will tackle all 3 biggies (move, job, relationship) this year, probably in that order. One down, 2 to go!

Hi Tirl - glad the move went well. Was reading in Psychologies magazine this month (paid for by Tesco clubcard points) that sometimes you are better doing lots of change at once as you are all up for it and more open to new possibilities.... So perhaps you will find it better to just go for it!

Yeah, I'd agree with that. When you get the ball rolling, there's nothing stopping one for awhile...

New flat is very quiet, but am enjoying it. Leigh, my flatmate, seems to be away a lot, saw her last night for a bit though. Quite like the peace and quiet and almost having the place to myself. No internet connection yet :(. 'New' bed might get sorted this week, the divan with draws, not much more I can do before that comes in cos need to put stuff away in the draws. BF coming to stay tonight for the first time. He did help me to move one load so he's been in.

Rang virgin about the minimum payment changing as today the £40.90 went out of my account having paid more extra as I thought it was gonna be lower. They said if you have DD, it's always the minimum payment on statement, but they 'have to' change it online cos you might be paying in other ways than DD. Never mind, I can afford the extra payment so more off the CC and at least I now know how it works.
