Lucky you. I hate my job. :( It's boring and mind-numbing, but I feel I'm getting too old to change, only because I don't have the money to retrain and even if I did, I'm not sure what I'd want to do. :(

My life is so up and down atm. So many positives, so many negatives...is that called balance? ;)

No, you are going through a period of change and are questioning everything. You need to sit down and think about what you really enjoy doing and then look at how you could re-train in the future (when you have the money).

Hi Tirl - sorry I have been neglecting you. Glad that things are looking positive re a change of living accommodation. I think with your BF - I would question whether his commitment level will ever increase? If not I would move on.

CMD - that trek around slovenia sounds absolutely amazing!

It would be brilliant. Not getting my hopes up though.
I think it was the wording that was misleading...

    I'm moving!!!
    This weekend!!!
    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Well, actually, had to take tomorrow off work as have a match on Sunday, so will have Friday and Saturday to move. And I want to possibly go up Pen Y Fan again on Saturday morning so have to make most of Friday.

The second girl that came to see the room wanted it. She was desperate, she's living at her parents atm and just wanted out. All the other housemates liked her. But there was another girl coming to see the room after as it was only 10 mins for her arrival time, so would've been bit rude to cancel. She wanted it as well and was really nice (and even more desperate as her contract on her room ended this weekend and someone else was moving in on Monday!) but after much delibaration the guys went with the first girl.

I was feeling bit sad when the decision was made, after all, I've lived there for 3 years (!) and I've always gotten on with the guys. I do hope to keep in touch with some of them. And I know I need to move on. It was like a safety net staying there and it's always hard to break free...And I know in couple of months I'll be really glad that I moved out.

Couldn't've happened at a better time either. Pay day is tomorrow, so my rent on the new place will go out the day after and from the old place, I should get 2 weeks rent money back. Can't believe how quickly this all has come to conclusion. Absolutely brilliant!

  • You are a very quick mover once you set your mind to something. I think 2010 will be a great year for you!
