Yeah, those are on the list already. About 6 months ago when I was waiting at the dentist, I picked up a magazines with 3 walking holidays featured and I just put a list on my phone to check up later. Haven't done any research yet though.

Paid half of my deposit last night and she agreed that if worst came to worst, I could move in end of February, when my contracted notice is up in the old place. My current landlord has lots of contacts though and has already arranged two viewings for tomorrow.

I cleaned the bathroom yesterday and bless my housemates, they mopped all downstairs floors and hoovered the stairs and landing whilst I was away in training. I was very impressed!

Nice housemates! Will you keep in contact with them when you move?

Yes I think so, well at least one of them for sure. But yes, they've stepped up for the challenge which is nice of them.

I'm not really a career minded person, but I do want to earn more, so will have to pull my finger out and really think what will I want to do for the next 30 years...scary. Bf has been working for the same company for 13 years and he's only 35. That's even scarier.

I think he might not be very good with change...

It's understandable to what to make more money. I moved country to further my career but it was about the challenge and loving the job, not about the money, as I would be on far more in Ireland now but I would be so burnt out. My wages are good enough for us to have a good life though, and I love my job so that is enough for me :)

Lucky you. I hate my job. :( It's boring and mind-numbing, but I feel I'm getting too old to change, only because I don't have the money to retrain and even if I did, I'm not sure what I'd want to do. :(

My life is so up and down atm. So many positives, so many negatives...is that called balance? ;)
