Ok, I need to/want to lose 29lbs (!!!!). Eeeek, how the hell did that happen?! Well, by eating too much of course! And by consuming more calories than I was using. But that is all in the past now. Balanced diet, exercise and slimming down is the order of the day. Haven't been to 9st for ages though, was 9st 5lbs before all this weight gain so would be happy to get down to that as well. The first couple of weeks have been going well.

Great to hear from you Tir! I need to lose 7lbs and started walking last night. I am going to walk twice a week with my sister. As I also walk everywhere with the kiddies, I think that will be enough. My goal is 8st 7lbs.

Good luck to you CMD! I think you'll easily achieve your goal!

It's absolutely horrendous to think that I've let the pounds pile on this much! I don't really look that big/fat and I can still mostly fit into my old clothes but I definitely feel more 'uncomfortable'. I think part of it's been the change of birth control as the pill never made me put on weight. I did have a really bad habit of drinking coke and eating crisps and chocolate every day for awhile and I don't think that helped. I'm using MyFitnessPal app for keeping and eye on the calories and also recording my exercise.

I am the same as you, I just feel uncomfortable in my clothes and want to feel more toned. I am desperate for coke, crisps and chocolate too!

I have to say I haven't missed the coke, chocolate or crisps at all!!! And I don't want to get into habit with coke, I think it is addictive substance!

Mainly I hate how the weight affects my sports. In volleyball I'm definitely not getting to all the balls I would've before and my running is much slower! But it's a start of a journey and I'm feeling good about it. :) I think I will keep udating my progress here as it needs to be seen by other people as well.

No weight loss last week even though I cycled about 60 miles in 4 days, ran once, attended two vb training sessions and had 2 hard matches on Sunday. I would say, a tad disappointed. And I was good with food..

I weigh myself on Monday mornings after getting up.
