Ticker update. Tells me I've paid tad over quarter of my debt! Doesn't feel like it, but looking at it makes me feel much better. Debt originally started at £13,196.02. Might of been bit higher at some point when I wasn't 'on the ball'. The 'hard' part is done though, interest is under control and I'll make the rest of the debt disappear soon!

Good for you! That makes it look way better doesn't it?

I can't wait til payday. Not sure if I will get under 10k this month as I have a tax bill to pay. Will try my best though. Would love to be under 10k by the time the baby was born!

Yeah, it's nice to be finally quarter through the debt and it's motivational. The rest will go easier now that I don't have to struggle with late interest etc.

Hope you get to under £10K, it definitely makes it feel more managable.

Yeah, you are well organised with your debts now!

Will try my best to get under 10k but still have to buy some baby stuff. They cost so much! Ha ha! If I get my refund from the Eurostar pretty quickly I will be able to pay some off it. I just need to find about £360 from somewhere!

It's so difficult when it's that near, but you don't know where to get the money from...But you'll be under £10k really soon anyway so if it's not this month, it'll probably be next month.

Ok, we have progress. Flatmate finally went to check the bed in the loft, but it's gone all moldy...:( But she's bought a new bed base and it's going to be delivered on Friday!!! Woo hoo! :)

BF was round last night and we had a chat what I could do in my room and had some good ideas. Can't wait to get the bed base and start sorting my room out! Then soon I can even start inviting people around! ;)

Now just need to get her to sort out the tv/broadband package.
But 2/3 sorted and BF helped me sort out the heating, that was simple. :)

Am now looking at mattress toppers, some nice king size duvet sets (friend will give me a king size duvet) and half width tall bookcases. It's kind of exciting.

Atm my flatmate hasn't been iin much, which is actually really nice, cos it's almost like just my place. :) Unfortunately, I'm sure she'll be spending time there at some point...
