Hi Tirl - glad to hear you had a relaxing weekend - hope you manage to shake this cold off quickly tho. You do seem run down easily at the moment altho with those early starts and long commutes it probably isn't that surprising...

Well down at being about 3000 posts! 10,000 is my next milestone - it seems to be taking for ever to get there LOL

I hope I can shift this cold too by having couple of weeks off. I need to try not to do too much and take advantage of longer sleep and no commute.

Really struggled at training last night, just couldn't breathe and just got exhausted. When I went to bed I had my pyjamas on but woke up during the night cos I was cold and sweaty. :( I've so had enough!

I doubt I'll ever get to 10,000 post as I don't really contribute that much anymore.

    The weather is just horrid!
Yesterday it was hail storms, rain storms, lightning, thunder, sunny skies (very occasionally). It was ok when I was going home but got once blown sideways on the bridge which wasn't so much fun.

Today I checked the weather forecast for the bridge and it said it was calm so off I went, filled up with petrol and then came to the roundabout I take to the M5. There was an inch of sleet on the ground and the bike didn't like that at all;back wheel sliding sideways...Decided to go round the roundabout and head back home! And seems I made the right decision as we're having a hail strom now and the ground has turned white! Oh well, two more days of this, then holiday. :) Just how we are getting up to North Wales is a different thing.

Pay day!!! :) Just paid BF off so only the two cc debts now to tackle next year.
I am going to be debt free next year! :)

Took the motorbike to work today after checking weather forecast at 5.30am. It was bit windy but fine. Tomorrows weather forecast is snow so it'll be train for the last day. Mobile tyre fitter coming to change front tyre today at 11am.

Just edited to add that I'm actually quite excited about the fact that next year I'll be on the finishing line to pay my debts off! Can't believe there's an actual tangible end in sight. Woo hoo!!!!

    Thanks SH.

Just paid £72.21 off $antand3r, a bit of a random amount but when minimum payment of £9.82 goes early Jan,that means I have nice round £900 to pay next year in 6 instalments before 0% ends. Just thinking, I need to check this as it might finish of in early June which means I'll only have 5 pay's to pay it off...

Might pay a bit more of v1rg1n as well, just need to work out how much. Will probably update in a bit. Difficult to know how much I'll need over the Xmas/New Year period.

Weather forecast looked not so good last night so decided to take the train. Was sleeting when I cycled to station but is really nice and clear in Cardiff. Never mind.

    Thanks SH!

Got back home the other day from 16 days away. Bit too long to be honest, especially as I still wasn't feeling 100%. We should've really stayed the first couple of days at home and then gone closer to Christmas. Didn't really do that much. Over New Year we stayed in Snowdonia in a cottage with BFs dad and family. On New Years Eve we went for a wet 3hr walk, plan was to do the same on New Years Day but when we go to the start it was high winds, rain and hail so we decided against it.

Coming back home wasn't straight forward either. We were just about ready to leave, just needed to start the bike and we couldn't find the key. We hunted for it about an hour, every possible place and all the unlikely places as well like in the micro. Then I asked BF to take all his clothes off (we already had checked his jacket and trouser pockets) and when he took his motorbike trousers off, the key fell off from his trouser legs!!! The ride home was long,at points wet and closer we got, colder. Stopped at services just after Worcester and when we got past the M4/M5 junction we were almost home,I was so happy! It should've taken us about 15 minutes to get home but unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen...we ran out of petrol!!!! So we had to push the bike to the nearest garage. We also got the motorway traffic people stopping us asking what we were doing. An hour later,we finally got home.

BF went to work today but I took today off as well and am no hurry to go back to work so am enjoying the last day of freedom. Unfortunately I still have the sniffles and am not feeling 100%. I don't really no what much else to do about it. I think I just need to keep doing what I'm doing and stay positive, surely I can't have a cold forever?!I must start doing some exercise again as well and not be to afraid of getting another cold.

    Another £100 extra paid off s@ntand3r. :)
