Oh yes, and I've had 3 bad days, 2 last week and today. So it's not all been 'healthy November'.
And as I think I remember from Hypno's (?) thread, "Just for today, I allow myself to eat crap". Tomorrow will hopefully be another, better day.
My arsenal of cold fighting now includes: High strenght effervescent vitamin C with Zinc, odourless garlic, multivitamins with iron and echinacea tablets.
Any other idea welcome as I don't want next year to be as bad as this one has been. I think I've just totally lost my immune system...:(DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
H Tirl - I think it has been a funny November.... need to blame the weather I think for our lack of healthiness - couldn't possibly be our daily choices.... I weigh my heaviest ever so need to tackle that!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I weigh my heaviest ever too! That was the whole point of my Healthy November, kick start good habits! But I haven't given up, oh no, I'm keeping it up despite little 'mishaps'. Positives are that I have started running again. Maybe not quite as regularly as I'd like yet but at least I'm doing it,getting back into it. I'm going to look to do bit more of a running plan for December as I seem to be coping with it fine. Also my food choices generally are better;no more coke and part from bits of dark chocolate that I'll allow myself to have (I like it but never going to stuff myself with dark choc) I've only had two chocolate bars in the whole month so far and that was yesterday when I was feeling very sorry for myself due to yet another cold. So mind set is chancing and that's what this month is all about for me. I'll build on these in the months to come.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Another £100 paid off BF loan. If I'm really good this month, I might be able to pay it all of before December pay. And I will be under £3k soon!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

Well done on the payments
Hope you manage to get to a healthy weight you're comfortable with. I am going to do my best not to worry about my weight until after xmas - altho I'm planning to get checked out on Thursday just in case my recent weight gain (and on-going pain) are linked and directly health related rather than just an uncomfortable side effect still from my operation.... Don't really want any new diagnosis but would like some relief from current symptoms!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I took yesterday off as flexi because I dropped the bike and the gear leaver snapped off.
I was coming to the junction from our road (dead end) which leads straight to a dual carriage way going down hill. I approached slowly and as I checked if anyone was coming from the right I saw car lights coming round the bend and so stopped, put my left foot on the ground which slipped on some leaves and as I lost my balance the bike dropped to the left. Not much damage thankfully. Mirror cracked a bit on the top but is usable, gear leaver snapped and cost £41 to replace and some chipped paint on the side of the back seat.
I went to get the new part from town and BF fitted it. The hot grips arrived as well and BF fitted those at the same time so nice ride to work today. Thank god it's Friday though. I'm still feeling bit tired from my cold and I've given it to BF now. Chilled out weekend ahead I think!DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
And a chilled out weekend it was. We mostly watched films and telly, walked to the shop to by food and I washed up.
Sunday I went to spy on the team who we're playing next as we've never played against them before. They were playing just 3 miles from where we live so not exactly a hard ship.
My injured shoulder is getting better as well and in last night's training I was able to hit again, albeit gently. The explosive action of serving was still beyond me. I'm not sure if I'll get to play much in next weekends game as it's a very important one and I'm not 100%. We need to win to stay on top of the leader board and I would not want to jeopardise that. I'd love to be ready to play though...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Weird things are happening...I've changed my dd details with my cc's due to new account. On my cc website it says I've paid on 21st but no money has gone from either of my accounts, old or new. Plus I obviously canceled the dd from old account that I want to close today.
No run yesterday, got home and just wanted to stay home. Cycled to work today but should really go for a run after work as tomorrow we are attending 'safari supper'.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
