What a horrid ride back home. The road was grey, the sky was grey, the rain was grey, it was very difficult to see. And I got wet! Not looking forward to ever doing that again.
BF is away so am just chilling out watching telly and surfing on the net. Was supposed to either go for a run or do my exercise dvd but the trip back dampend my mood..;)DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Hope the weather wasn't too bad for you.... Its rotten getting soaked on a motorbike. My OH invested in lots of wet weather gear as unfortunately it really is both needed and worth it....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Yesterday was fine, ended up beind a lovely ride back home.
This morning however...not so nice. Not too bad either though, mostly. I put a thin water repellant running jacket underneath and only got a small wet batch. What we need to do is reproof my jacket and trousers though they are new but I think that really for weather like this (hammering it down with rain) I just need to buy a all-in-one waterproof suite. They're not expensive. I used to have one but I sold it to pay off my debts when I knew I couldn't afford a bike for awhile.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
ah, the 6.5/7hours of sleep I seem to get at the moment really isn't enough for me. Went to bed about 11ish yesterday and basically only just got up! Not good. Think I want to go and check the local charity shops today and maybe a few new ones and then I want to go to Fabric Land and see if I can buy some cheap fabric to start making things.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

What are you thinking of making Tirl?
I may have found someone to make my roman blinds for me which would be good... waiting for her to arrange to come round but hoping it isn't too soon as house a tip and we'd need to tidy up but not so late that the fabric is gone!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Just want to make some bags and maybe start making clothes again. Nothing happens in hurry with me though...;)
Lost our first match in volleyball. And it was all our fault, just didn't play as a team and didn't get it together, we basically gave it away!
Went for my first run in ages this week as well. Basically did a route that I've walked before and I knew there was this zig zag uphill and knew I'd probably have to walk it up, just could not see myself running it up...but I did! It wasn't easy but nowhere as hard as I thought. Only ran half an hour in total but it's a start and very pleased. Plus it was nice being outside running again.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
I'm planning a 'Healthy November'. Which obviously starts today.
It includes exercise and healthy food and excludes crap food and being lazy.
Plan is to start running regularly again,2/3 times a week and do some core work/exercise dvd as well. No alcohol, coke, chocolate, sweets and other crap (except I'm allowed some on my birthday [weekend?]). I might allow myself to eat some dark chocolate once a week so I won't be totally denied of everything but I'm trying to make a break from bad habits that I've allowed to creep in and take hold.
I guess I ought to make a bit more detailed plan so I know what I need to keep to. Maybe even have a goal for losing weight which I've just ignored and thought,"it'll go at some point when I start exercising again". Need to think about that and report back.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
