It was great having my sister here. Bf took Tuesday and Wednesday off too which was nice. We went to Cardiff Harbour festival on Monday, GoApe Tuesday, charity shop shopping on Wednesday and Ikea in the evening. My sister wasn't so keen on the last one but as we had rented a car and needed some shelves from there, it just made sense.
Quite haul from charity shops as well. I've not been too keen on them previously but I guess it depends where you go. In the little village/town close to us there was some fab stuff. I found 2 crystal champagne glasses for a fiver, both Mistresses tv series dvd's for £6, fab deep turquoise water jug and 5 glasses for £7.50 and bf found jeans for £6! On Thursday we were walking to Blaise Castle when I spotted another charity shop and got my sister to pop in with me. Found two more crystal champagne glasses from £1.50(yes, for the pair!!!!) which ended up being identical the ones I bought the day before and 6 normal wine glasses for £2.50!
Also went back to the village as my sister had seen a wedding shop which was closed on Wednesdays (she's getting married next year!) and wanted to go and have a look. She came out with a new pair of shoes which were 25% off and we went back to one of the c. shops I'd seen this gorgeous purple dress but hadn't bothered to try it as it was size 8 but decided what the hell, I'll go and try it and see if either it fits or would fit if I lost some weight, and fit! I'll try to post a pic of it sometime cos I really like it! And it was only a tenner. It's a Next dress but I don't know when from as I've not been to next for ages.
The last two days my sister was here the weather really picked up, it was warm and sunny and it was lovely. Popped into Bristol as well but only stayed for couple of hours, I think we had had enough of shopping and wondering around by that time.
Friday night when my sister left I went to Cardiff to workmates band's EP launch night. Stayed longer than planned and then stayed over with another workmate as had a tournament there at the weekend. We did really well, on Saturday we were second and got through to Sunday's Cup competition which we only lost on points difference against the winners. All in all, a very nice week if pretty hectic.
Last night bf fixed the motorbike and off he went to play poker with his mates. I went to bed just after 10 as having to get up half 5 to take the train to work. Half 11 he called saying he'd run out of petrol and that he was at the round about close to our house and could I come and give him a hand pushing the bike up the hill! Not really what I wanted to do but obviously had to go and help. Not too tired yet but I think this commuting business is horrid so I better get my skates on and get a job in Bristol asap!!!! If only I had time to look for one...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

It was alright, didn't really do much, just visiting his family. Lots of rugby which is ok but got bit bored as didn't really do anything much. Felt like I just sat on my bottom all weekend.
Got back today, straight to work after 5am wake up. Weather was horrendous, really windy and blustery and lots of 'bloody hell' moments when the wind moved/shook the bike. Bit scary but we survived. Bf is taking the day off work as 28mph winds at Chepstow so I think he's going all the way to Gloucester to get back home to Bristol...
Got my lie-ins though and was feeling fine getting up so early today.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

We have a Suzuki sv650s. Two up and with the panniers it was ok'ish but not fun but bf didn't fancy trying his luck on the Severn Bridge on his own. The old bridge was closed for high vehicles...What's your OH's bike?DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0
