    Hi SH.
It has indeed! :) Unfortunately I seem to be too busy to be concentrating on job hunting which is not very good, but things should calm down in couple of weeks time. And at least I have the bike to commute on now. :)

Anyway, bit of advise please. I don't really want to tell people in the office that I'm moving to Bristol. I've told one who's also my friend (my ex line manager from last place) but he's not my line manager anymore. I don't really need to tell anyone except HR surely? I just don't want people starting to ask if I'm job hunting there and then if it takes longer to get a job again I just can't deal with people asking me how it's going. What do you think?

I think the only people you need to inform are HR. At the end of the day, as long as you are in work on time then it is noboy else's business where you live!

Had my gym induction yesterday. Not that I really need one as I'm quite competent in the gym although haven't been for ages, but wow was it crap! The guy was basically just, this is this, seat gets moved like this, next. Took about 5mins alltogether. They were also supposed to fill this little leaflet i.e. what you want out of the gym, do you want a programme etc and he didn't even do that. My plan is not to spend that much time in the gym but a little programme would've been helpful in case I have to fill in time when I'm waiting for classes or whatever. Anyway, did 20mins on xtrainer, then used the machines for weights. Might go for anohter on today after work but to a different place and then thinking about a step class on Saturday morning.

Have actually piled a little bit more weight on (just been such a slob! I think it must be psychological though) and want to loose about half a stone before end of this month, should be just about doable. I really need to concentrate on what I'm eating though but already feel better about doing some proper exercise again.

Bf is doing his bike test today, it's too parts and he's booked both of them in so by about 3pm, he might have his licence and the bike might be coming home so he can commute on it this week! FIngers crossed he'll pass first time,he's so excited.

I've been twice to the gym now, thursday after the induction and on Friday after work. On Saturday morning I went to step class and can't remember the last time I sweated quite that much. It was fun though. Saturday went to play on the beach too.

Today if the weather holds, we have a very important softball game that could determine the league winner. We're second at the moment and playing the league leaders, they do have quite a lead on runs but there's still one more game to go after. They've been really solid all season though but it would be nice to take one win out of them.

I have a very healthy lunch with me today. Quinoa with salad, carrot, tomatoes, beetroot and spring onion. Oh, just realised I forgot to put my fish in, was either going to be mackarel or tuna but totally forgot it in the hurry of making the quinoa...Well, it should be still quite filling.

Ah, game was terrible...we never got out of first gear. And opposition had some big hitters, it was just beyond us that day. Never mind. One more game and we should easily hold our second place in the league.

Had my fish but no quinoa the next day, better but think I need both as still hungry. Circuits tonight. Hard but really good, just what I need. Could hardly cycle back home. ;)

Hope your lunch was ok at the end SH. And hope you're recurperating well. Sorry, can't be bothered to spell check so tired. Sausage and chips for dinner with peas. Not so good but not so bad either.

    Even tireder today...zzzzzzzz.

Had our last softball game last night and just manage to keep the win by 1 run. The last inning was very tight. Wen to the pub after for a drink as last game in the league. Back home just after 10 but seems to late for me especially now I'm trying to exercise a lot.

Have had my salads all week and do already feel better but today I'm back to sandwiches. Was supposed to decide today between lunch time circuits or evening circuits or step but feel like doing neither. Also need to carry on packing. Haven't managed to book a van yet for next week but still hoping to get it sorted. Taken 2 days off so we'll get it all done smoothly.

On Saturday we're going to see England-Wales rugby, looking forward to that. Then on Sunday have a day's softball tournament to finish off the season.

Applied for halifax cc yesterday and got turned down, not sure why. Unfortunately I don't earn enough to apply for barclaycard. :( Not sure what to do now, there's still RBS and Natwest to try. My tesco cc 0% ends in October but there's no way I can pay it off now with the move, having to pay for bits and pieces for the bike etc. Not sure how I'll afford the petrol money...

Sorry to hear you got turned down :(

I applied for the Barclaycard last night but am not confident of getting it as I am only a part-time worker. What is the wage limit for it? I didn't even check!

I really hope I get it as I could put most of my debts on there and just do 1 big payment a month. It would really take the pressure off.

I thought all of them said you needed to earn 20k so didn't even bother...will check now. Did you go for the 2year one?

    EDIT: yes, 20k limit.

I know, I was looking forward to dropping down to 2 BT cards but I might try again in couple of months when we've moved.
