Hope you are having a better weekend than us - my DD has just been screaming while we tried to apply antibiotic lotion.

Oh no Sh, that does not sound like fun.
I must pop on your thread and see what's wrong with her but doesn't sound good.
We're being quite unmotivated with bf atm but went to the museum today, that I've only been to the shop in 4 years of living here. Shame on me.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Well, weekend got bit better in the end. On Sunday we continued our tidying up of spare bedroom. We have a lot of stuff that needs sorting out before we move to make it easier. Especially I have lot of stuff that I've just been carrying around cos I've been too lazy to sort it out. So got rid of a big black bin bag of rubbish, about 5 cardboard boxes and 4 bags went to a charity shop with an old wetsuit. Also went to buy a shredder and used an argos card I've probably had for couple of years adn started shredding all my old bank and credit card statement from last 2/3 years...Was well pleased what we got done.
Also went for a nice walk in the park in the afternoon, played some frisbee and came back home via an off licence to pick couple of nice ciders (beer for bf) to enjoy with dinner.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Plan for this week is 4 runs. First one got done yesterday, just. It was pi55ing it down when I got home and I was a wuss and decided to wait until it wasn't so hard. Thankfully it didn't take long. I started in rain which was lovely and refreshing but it stopped whilst I was out. Another 3.6miles under the belt and feeling much better for it.
Booked time off after the August Bank Holiday as well,my sister's booked flights and is coming over. Looking forward to that!

Did all 4 runs last week and overall mileage was just over 15 which I was very pleased with. This week I'm aiming for 4 runs again but adding to the mileage and hopefully doing about 17.
What a lovely weekend. Though it was raining on Saturday morning, we had the best plan to enjoy some of the day outdoors - surfing! Not too far to go and with wetsuits on it was quite fun. I wouldn't say we surfed as such, messed about in the sea would be more accurate description but it was really nice couple of hours. In the evening the weather improved a bit and went to a friend's birthday BBQ. Was a good night.
But Sunday, what a day! Too hot but lovely. Bf had a headache so had to leave him at home and head to the beach on my own. Not a problem of course as was going to play volleyball. Was a lovely day but the heat must of gotten to me, when I got back home I just felt really tired and had a little snooze. In the evening about 9 went for an hours walk with bf and it was still lovely and warm.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Beach was lovely. Unfortunately it now seems I won't be able to do any tournaments cos my partner isn't able to do them.
I have to decide if I try to find someone else to play with or just save my money.
Softball training last night, half of it in rain, got 3 showers whilst we were playing but it was still good fun. Went for a run straight after and felt really good. Unfortunately my back's started niggling again and it doesn't help I work in an office and have to sit down a lot and feel just really stiff getting up after sitting down long, like an old lady sometimes. So that is not so good.
Bf might stay in Bristol tomorrow night as well, one of the guys from his work is leaving. He stayed there twice last week which was really nice for him. And on Thursday we have some theatre tickets booked!!!! Not long ago we were talking about doing some different things and I really fancied going to theatre again, but not to pay the prices. Couple of years ago council used to do cheap tickets, £5-10 and I used to go fairly often but then got bored because they were all very similar. To cut the long story short, groupon had a deal and we paid £8 each! Result! Can't wait for Thursday.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Always nice to have something to look forward to... Theatre sounds nice....
I couldn't focus today - had 2 medical appointments - spoke to my boss and took flexi for the rest of the day...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Back was quite bad yesterday, really struggled through the morning at work. Then had a lunchtime walk which seemed to help so went for an easy short run after work as well. 3.6 miles. Have to say I found it a struggle. Checked the conditions when I came back,19 degrees and 72% humidity, which probably didn't help either.
However, my back is even worse today, just goes stiff straightaway when I sit down. I've tried to move a fair bit but unfortunately most of my work is on the computer.I'm going to do a short day and leave at 1/1.30pm as can't imagine doing the whole day. Am supposed to go to softball tonight which should be ok but might re-think the running this week. It's fine whilst I run, but today it's the worst it's been for a long while and I've run both on Monday and Tuesday. Maybe it just needs rest? Usually with back problems they'll tell you to keep doing your usual stuff if you can but maybe bit of rest works sometimes better? Now I'm not looking forward to the theatre as the seats are not usually that good...:(
