Lovely makes Midge and Miss Pixie xx

Mooloo, sounds like a nice time you will be having, I had a big party for my 50th with all the family turning up, was lovely.

Irishgirl, what lovely news about going to New York. My OH would love to go there.

I talked OH into making a detour this afternoon to Dunelm Mill and bought some fabric and foam to cover the top of the ottoman I was given. Couldn't wait to do it so went upstairs and it only took half an hour to do. Looks really smart now. Also got a bit more wadding in for another quilt that's on the go.

Finished making myself a top, will try to get a photo tomorrow for my blog. The one I did for YD is going to be too small so I am going to give it to GD instead.

I wish it was today! I am so stressed!!
Stubbed my toe on an old heavy sewingmachine thats at the end of my bed, at about 7.30 this morning, and its been down hill eversince. Dispite putting said foot under the cold tap for several minutes the bruise is already in evidence.
DGD has ddropped 40 plus marbles all over the floor, is ignoring all I tell her, and its just scream, scream scream and thats only me!
Beko rang back about the engineer coming to do Dad's fridge and hung up on me. My mood is as black as the clouds outside now!!:(

I want to make o set of packing cubes to organise our holiday packing and then use for storage afterwards. Similar to these
    http://www.roamingfox.co.uk/Packing-Organizer-Set-pr-16638.html
Even though they aren´t that expensive, once you add on the high postage costs to Spain, they practically double in price.

Anyone have any instructions please or a blog tutorial?

I did buy an underbed storage thingy and adapted that, but it took a long time , so I thought I might as well start from scratch for any others I do

    Thanks

for people who are looking for zips

I bought these ones £12.99 for 100 zips, free postage.

when i an making small purses/makeup bags etc.. i cut them down to the length i need.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/100-X-12-INCH-CUSHION-BEIGE-ZIPS-FREE-UK-POSTAGE-/110711443438?pt=UK_Crafts_Sewing_Supplies_MJ&hash=item19c6ea8fee

they have other sizes too, but i found the 12 inch the best

ok they are beige, but i find this is a great nuteral colour, so i will use htem for most colour fabrics etc

hope this helps someone looking for zips
