I've not really participated over the last few days, I do apologise. I've been so busy that I've been dipping in and out so have not taken a great deal of time to respond or read thoroughly. I think I'm now all caught up. I do like all of the makes that have been shown over the last few days, there are some very inspirational ones showing up.
Ailsb, that fabric is great. That would make me smile every time I saw it :).
I have finished the sewing on the blind now but had a bit of a manic afternoon. Really need to get on and get a few things done tomorrow (tons of recycling to go out this week ) and will then cut the wood bits of the blind kit. I then need to reposition the hooks and will be able to thread up the blind. So, I think my order for doing this is
1: Trim baton to size and reposition wall bracket on correct length baton
2: Mark wall, drill holes and add rawl plugs
3: Reposition eyelet screws and thread up the blinds
4: Attach the baton to the wall
5: Stick up the blind then thread through the strings
    6: Attach cleat to wall
    Good to go!
Let's hope I manage to get it done but I must have a sleep tomorrow during the day or I'm going to suffer on my night shift.

good morning... some lovely makes here I have been awol due to the reorganisation of my craft room, been at it since tuesday and its still not finished and I got battered and bruised while lifting the 12foot work top and it fell on top of me!! but it is getting there managed to make three passport covers and 3 luggage tags for DD who wanted them for her BF mother and sister and herself they all leave for Spain today. Forgot to take a pic of them will do it when they get back.

My twin DD was out at the weekend and saw someone wearing a skirt in the same fabric as my rock dress went over to her and asked her where she got it from, she got it from a craft fair! they told her that i make dresses in that fabric, and gave her my email address and i got an email requesting to see the dresses and said she would love to see the makeup bags too as it would be perfect for gifts!! My twin DD must have told her everything I make!!:rotfl::rotfl:

No sewing or finishing off the craft room today as a friend coming down to do a marathon workout session with me this morning, body pump then an hour later back for zumba!! and gotta to go to work tonight:(
I am determined to lose weight!:kisses3:
Weight loss so far 2 stones 6lbs!! :j:j

NY wow! next Friday I am 50. Molly my friend and I are going to stay at Ragdale Hall, (spa health place). Not quite newyork! But I am sure I will love the break away from DGD and the Twins!! just the same.

I collected all my stuff from the Shop in the town today. I am not happy with the way she was changing things about, it was all too bity.
I have told her that i am going to do things on a different basis with her.
I am going to get a duplicate book, write down the things that she has, the prices I sell them at, and the proper sale or return terms etc. She is too scatterbrained about things.

We are still going to trade, but on a better proffessional footing.
(I hope), if not then I will just be stocking my Online shops and getting going back that way. Along with using my other contacts.
Spent even more money today, buying some clothes in the CS that I think will make lovely bags.
I how have a room full of things to do, and ideas bursting from me.
I think I will also need a re-organisation of my sewing room. Desperately.
Biggest of Mooloo's going to bring the twins over here when i am away, and they are going to tidy up DGD's room. Perhaps I should get them to blitz the work room too! (Except then I wouldnt have a clue where anything is at all, rather then a vague idea where I put something.:o:eek:
The sun has decided to break out through the clouds again, so I am going to go outside in the garden, and hang the work. Sun is necessary for the Happy vibes!.

I made another cushion, more about it on my blog and if anyone is interested in embroidery I have posted a question about some possible free embroidery patterns :)
