yes lovely meeting you too ive just looked up the pattern i told you ive had since last year and never made up yet, its here i think i will have to have a go soon, but i dont have a ruffler foot i think thats another reason why ive not done it yet.

i made the zippy purse tonight using some MM fabric ive had ages and plain black, ive used velcro glue dots to fasten it.

i sewed one on the underside of the button whilst i was sewing that on and sewed the other side on using a zigzag stitch.

Thanks I have some woven interfacing hopefully it is a big enough piece for me to have a play with and see if I prefer it. I am too fussy for my own good sometimes!

Love the purse! I don't normally like turquoise but that is a really nice colour and the dots make it even better :D

I am going to ikea on Saturday to look at fabric! Can't wait

it looks great, why wont it still, have you over stuffed it do you think?

could you cut a circle from card and glue it to the bottom to help it stand better or maybe add a weight in the bottom or on the outside, they sell weights for the bottom of shower curtains from memeory. dont know just me thinking out load.

Hi everyone, some lovely makes on here now, I've lots of bag pattern, but very confused about which interfacing to use and where to buy from, can any of you help me out and give me some advice. The interfacing is frightening me more than making the bag!!!:(

hmo - I've had the Frilly Dilly bag pattern for ages, but no gathering foot, think might need it for that.

hart44 - love the xmas tree
