Thanks again to everyone who helped re the trees.
Have made a few prototypes, but need to make some adjustments I think as they are quite fiddly.

I've decided to start a campaign to change the shape of Christmas Trees to curves - all those points to turn and stuff ;)

I love them Cuddles :T I love the 2 tone look you have done :D
They are quick to do as well I am going to do some more but this time I will leave a bigger gap at he bottom as the one I did wasn't big enough to stuff comfortably (tiny hole) have you tried using a chop stick to poke the corners with, it's whan I use and you have 2 ends, the pointed bit and the flat end :D

Sorry Nutty :o I was going to have a look for you but as usual time ran away from me again :o but Im glad you found a pattern :D

Welcome Dolly :D I have not had anything from them so not much use realy, sorry :o
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Blog hopping this morning found this tutorial for an easy way to do ruffles!!

    http://thedistracteddomestic.blogspot.com/2011/05/rufflegather-tutorial.html

I still have not got round to trying out my ruffler foot

    that looks interesting.

i found a universal ruffler foot ona website over the weekend and emailed them to ask if it will fit my machine, they say it will, so ive ordered it this morning and had an email saying its been despatched.

so when it arrives i will have to try it out. let us know how you get on with yours

Wish I'd done that! I just got carried away with all the lovely prints! Note to self, research company before ordering not after!

Thanks for the comments re the trees.

Mine are quite small, so rather fiddly.
I used a small knitting needle and a cable needle for stuffing hart44. Like you though, found the hole was very small to get the stuffing in.
Thinking of making bigger ones if I can find Christmas fabric. Would also make the bottom flatter, so that they stand rather than hang.

My xmas tree is about 10'' tall :D Im going to put a circle of card covered in the same fabric on the bottom as mine is a bit rocky but it will stand ok if I push the bottom a bit :o

Thank you Pootle for the link :D some lovely ideas for more quilts :D

Dolly, did you pay with Paypal? if you did you can get them to sort it for you or at least get your money back. They may send the fabric yet so dont dismiss it yet :D
