I am looking for a bit of help please. A while ago when I was reading back through the thread I saw this website mentioned for fabric:
    http://printstopolkadots.co.uk/ocart/index.php?route=common/home

Just over two weeks ago I placed an order and paid by paypal. I have not received my order. I have used the contact form to enquiry about my order but heard nothing. I am not getting worried that I wont receive it. The money was taken from my account a couple of days after I ordered.

Has anyone shopped with them before and know how long they take to deliver? I will be really disappointed if it doesn't come as it is a present for my dd and I had to cut back on other things to afford it.

That's exactly the same problem I had, if you read back over the last few pages I asked the same question, mine is apparently being dispatched today so we'll see if it arrives! Have you tried to contact them? I emailed them at least 4 times before my last email generated a response!! As a first step keep emailing them and pushing for a response!

Thank you so much. I had posted quickly and read back, so appreciate your input. I will try emailing again. Thankfully it is paypal, so the next step will be to approach them.

Looks like you guys are the lucky charm! After the 'strongly worded' email of yesterday my order status has been updated to 'dispatched - partial refund pending' so at least I've been acknowledged at last!! :T

Hopefully it will turn up in the next few days :D

I'm not sure if I'd order with them again, we'll see what turns up! :D
Yay! Glad you're going to get your fabric soon :)

Thats great news Dolly :D if you need help with fabric buying and which are the better sites check here 1st :D

I have had fabric from Etsy that I ordered arrive today, 6 days from America, its fab :j I will have to put a pic of it on later but Im off to work in a mo :(
I had wondered about ordering some heavyweight muslin from America but haven't gone into it that closely. I can't until I've got some other bits and pieces done around the house to give me space and time to get on sewing.
Dolly, there's a sewing thread no chat thing somewhere. Someone who can actually string a sentence together will post a link I'm sure, if not, I'll try to stick it up later or tomorrow.

I'd love some recommendations for fabric sites! The more the merrier!!

I've ordered from efabrics for a couple of years but I've been disappointed recently so I'd love some new, reliable sites / sellers to check out!! I'm totally jealous when people talk about 'local fabric shops' the prices in some of my local shops would make your eyes water

    Thanks everyone :D
*scuttles off to check out efabrics and hoping I can't see anything I want on there*

Oh, scrolling down to check out the other new posts I had added to multi quote, I see you've been chatting whilst I'm typing. Now this has got to stop because I have a bath waiting for me and I need to get in it not keep browsing t'internet :rotfl::o.
Hello to the newbie poster who's name now escapes me :o I had ticked you on multiquote to nose about what you are going to make but clearly I am not allowed to multiquote as many as I'd ticked :(.
My sister has just ordered some lovely looking clothes kits but boy do the prices make your eyes water. At that price I'd be terrified to muck them up when assembling them. Or, worse still, cutting them .

I can honestly say that i order from these fortnightly and haven't had a problem. When your ordering though you need to read it proparly as it sometimes tells you how many they have in stock (well it always does :D) but on Pre-Order items it will say Pre-order. If your not looking for it then it can be easily missed.
It's only pre-order items that have taken a few weeks for me to recieve. My latest being their Minky fabrics.
I wouldnt use anyone else as taking for example the minky fabrics for less than £2 per FQ is amazing :T
Hope you all get the problems sorted out. Maybe best to email them or re-check your order and look for 'pre-order' xx
