A very easy bag to make too
Thankyou, I'm making jean bags at the moment, but am looking to make other stuff too, but I'm no good at comprehending instructions so they need to be easy.
I was thinking childrens bandanas too? out of the scraps left? are they easy to make?Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
My DD's prom bagShe wanted a small bag just to put her phone and her camera in so I made her this, it the pleated pouch by Skip to my Lou http://www.skiptomylou.org/2010/04/27/pleated-pouch-tutorial/ I just added a wrist strap
The fabric is turquoise satin to match her dress and it has zip detail so I added the silver fringing to the bag
I ironed some ultra light interfacing to the outer fabric and some medium to the lining as it was a pain to cut the fabric otherwise
I can't belive she has now finished school apart from the odd day for exams she is now at homewhere did the years go
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

whoa Hart - that bag is terrrrrrrrific - I am sooo envious - its totally beautiful
Am I allowed to be cheeky as I think I just have been - I have just put a long post on my blog all about shabby chic kitchens - hopes and dreams/inspirations - and to start it off I have borrowed a Home sign that I think I got from either here or the shabby chic thread - I cannot for the life of me think who put it up and I dont know if they made it or if they borrowed it - I want to give credit to them if it was theirs or remove if they didnt want me to place it = I also wondered if anyone had any ideas and inspirations of their own that they wanted to share - can I be really naughty and ask you to have a peek and let me know what you would love if you were doinga shabby chic kitchen - thank you Elaine x0 -
Wow you have all been busy again I see. Hart, that little bag is georgeous!
Rummer if you google tutorials for a pompodour you can just adapt it to the size you need. (they have circular bottom and drawstring and its up to you how much fabric you use for the depth. )0 -
