Kaz not done any more of the squares as I wanted to get the bags done 1st but I have writen down all the instructions as Im going to be with out electic today I hope to be able to cut the shapes ready to sew when they turn electic back on later

No sewing for me today, got the grass to cut and housework to be done it was neglected last week while i was resting my back

I answered my own question last night as there is a tool on photobucket which enables you to lay your photos out as a collage. Now that I know this is available on there, I will rephotograph all of my blocks so that they are dead on and then I can crop to remove the background. Once that's done, I'll lay it out on there. I've done a rough guide already and DH and I had a fiddle to see what we thought was the best layout. It's working for me so far .
Not managed to get any sewing done yet, tons on my to do list and got half way through but it's most definately coffee time before I continue with the list!

It is a sewing gauge. I have THIS ONE 31467 from Jaycotts. It has a point turner too. I use it for marking out sewing allowances prior to sewing.
