    Thanks Ladies

The needles I had here fitted :) So I have made my first Jean Bag, with lining, although the lining took longer to do than the bag itself!!

Just need to bling the front of the bag now :) any ideas??

    Any of these maybe?

I didn't manage any sewing or cutting last night because DH dragged me out of the house as soon as I was out of bed. I took my block number 5 with me and unpicked it in the car. I'm not happy enough with it and I want to see if I can get it together neatly. I have a horrible feeling that it is going to involve lots of pinning which I detest.
Not sure how much time I'll have today as I've made DH get the tile cutter out of the loft for me to use so I'm going to go and tile the utility this morning :D Maybe sewing this evening?

Oh, and it's my anniversary next Thursday- yikes

hi everyone, how've you all been? sorry it's been so very long since dropped by... redundancy and moving house with huge renovations have meant no real sewing (other than cross stitch and hexagons for my never ending patchwork quilt) for about 7 months!

anyway, i'm now in the new house :j, the old house is happily rented out, i left my old job and started a new one (at the same desk! will have to see if i pass review whether i get to keep it though)... and have finally unpacked my sewing machine and stuff! :D

... havent used the machine yet but have prepped a new project - Home Sweet Home fabric sign from a mag. Hopefully when we get propper internet back ect i can join in properly again. i'm off to have a scroll back but as i cant see pictures it wont be too fun...

Lol @ Georgiabay! That would be fun though going to work in a lighthouse :D. I've finished my tiling so when DH gets home for his lunch, I'm going to make him get out the mitre block from his hellish shed. Then I can put up my new window frame. Which leads me on to a sewing project because I'll be able to make a start on my blinds for my downstairs loo. How much fun :D.
I can't wait until it's done, I'll post pics when it's finished. Just need to go and have a look around at how to best make roman blinds.
