The pot holder looks great :D very clever use of tea towels too :D

Im glad I couldn't make it to the quilting day in the village in April as I have just found out from a lady who went that they didn't know much and was disapointed, they also didn't tell any one they need you to bring your own sewing machine :(

Yes hmo Im being good :):)
Thanks for your kind comments hart. That's a bit off about the sewing machines. The expert at my group quilts by hand most of the time, quite an ispiration. I may take my sewing machine next time, though I would like to do some hand-stitching as I am mostly a sewing machine user.

Right off to water the greenhouse plants and perhaps put some fleece over them...could be chilly tonight!

Mooloo, I love that little hat, was it hard to do?

No it was quite simple. I would do a few things differently so that the inside was lined as well. So I have cut one out in a piece of some other fabric to try. I think the first one took me about an hour and a half.
The little dress took around 3 or so hours. From cutting out to finish. (Once I added up all the odd times I managed to get to it today.) Thanks.:D

I've been to two different car boot sales looking for ties and didn't see a single one at either. Not one

What kind of ties are you looking for? x:j

Hi everyone, hope life finds you well.
I have been lurking in the shadowy corner. Our move is getting ever closer, 6 wks Sunday when we leave this lovely sunny island and move into our own house. Have a lot of emotions at the moment it will be a new chapter in our lives but the end of an era as me and the children finally start to settle down. DH is off to Saudi for two years, one heck of a commute lol.
Anyway I started teaching a sewing course last week just showing 7 lovely ladies how to make a bag or doorstop so I have had to blow the cobwebs off my machine as I hadn't sewn since November. I have managed to make a small bag and a Kindle sleeve for my daughter so she is a happy customer. They are easily pleased.

Best wishes to all, I will keep lurking.

Hi Genie :D it's nice to know you are still around :D
You have a very busy time comming up, I hope your move goes well and you settle very quickly :D

Ginger :D I noticed the Minky fabric :D and have some projects I want to make with it so I will definatley be ordering some from there :D

Rufus :D well done on getting your shop up and running :T Im very sure it will do well :D I tried to leave a comment on you blog but for some reason I couldn't and it kept telling me to sign in then my name would not come up :( so I gave up :(
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)
