Have you tried jewellery findings? maybe there is something there :o

I have been thinking :rotfl: (sorry)
Not sure if you are makeing a dress or have one you want to add them to?

I was wonding if you could make the tubes? I brought some craft wire like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-5mm-Solid-Copper-Wire-1-75-metre-coil-Jewellery-Wire-/140297414089?pt=UK_Crafts_JewelleryMaking_GL&hash=item20aa60a5c9
this is were the thinking came in and if you made it into a tube by wrapping this wire around something then glued a pretty bead to the ends if you could then add it to a dress? :o
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Thanks for the help. Its to add to a dress I already have... I'm no where near good enough to make my own yet.

No probs :o wish I could be more help but like you Ive googled everything too and nothing either :o
The wire idea would have been ok if you were making the dress as you would have to slide the tube on the straps before finishing them off :o

I will have another think (it takes a while these days :rotfl:) and see if my crafty mind takes over and I can come up with something :rotfl:

Found this if all else fails (Pootle sparked this one :rotfl:) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BERISFORDS-METALIC-LAME-RIBBON-25mm-x-2-Metres-/120425095894?pt=UK_Crafts_Cardmaking_Scrapbooking_Ribbons_Fibres_EH&hash=item1c09e522d6

You could sew this around the strap :o

Sent the link of the tie bag to my Mum, and have had a message via MSN, that she has 17 ties for me! Dad is glad to be rid of them.

No no no no no! ;) You can't make the tie bag before I make mine  I've got a dress and a bag to make for a wedding on Friday next week, then I'll start on mine. Please :D Or, as my 20 month old niece says, 'Peeze?' ;)

I have so many things I want to do and someone always beats me to it :rotfl:

My stitches out tomorrow so hope to get on with some of the projects before going back to work (3 more wks off, I hope :rotfl:)
I have been doing some sewing but the stupid bandage gets in the way :(
