    Hi Everyone,

I have been been trying to recycle as much fabric as i can by using unwanted bedding/clothes and buying sheets from the charity shop:money:. However the time has come for me to buy some fabric and i want to do it online.

Where does everyone buy theirs from? Can anyone give me some good links that sell fabric at reasonable/discount prices?. I want to buy different types of fabric but don't know wher to start and what prices are reasonable.

    Thanks

I put some links in this post of where I buy a lot of my fabric from.

  • iDSCN0266JPGteeny.jpgI loved this pattern in February's Crafts Beautiful so much I made 3 hearts !!! I'm going to donate one of them to a friend in blogland. She is having a coffee morning and sale to raise fund for the British Heart Foundation and asked if bloggers would make a little heart themed something. Isn't that a great idea? There are details on my blog if you want to join in.
    Hope you like them.

    Hi everyone,

I am after some help from all you advanced seamstresses:D. I am attempting my first McCalls pattern which is a dress for my daughter. I have cut all the pieces out and am ready to start but i am finding the instructions really confusing:eek:.

First daft question fuse interface - does that mean i iron it to the back of my material?

Second daft question what the hell is yoke and selvage?:o

lats daft question. the instructions say cut notches outward. i'm guessing the notches are the 2 triangles together and if so they are pointing inwards on the pattern (if that makes sense)

The pattern i picked is supposed to be easy but i feel like i am never going to be able to do it:o

    Help anyone please???
