    I have finally finished my gloves and have started to make a bag out of OH old denims. Not sure if i should include it here as there is no sewing involved. Its a woven rag bag. I like it so far so I'll maybe post a pic when I'm finished.

    Thank you for your kind comment on my cushion cover, hopefully I will be able to do more sewing when I dont have to work wkends, Ive told work Im only working Mon-Fir after the 1st of Feb so not long now till I can start on my list of things to make :D

    Had such fun today. OH helped me set up the machine and have been practising by sewing round the patterns on those free swatches you can get. I'm alright if I take it slow and steady but my foot seems to take on a life of it's own and revs up so I speed off all over the place!:rotfl:I need a break pedal or a hand brake! :rotfl:

    All set to go buy some material now! Whoooo!

    Thank you everyone for your kind comments on my cushion cover, the pic is a bit small so you cann't see that its not perfect lol but Im pleased with my 1st attempt and will soon be flying with the sewing (this wkend will be my last at work YIPPEE lol) and will have time to make more gifts in time for birthdays and christmas.

    Also thank you all for the lovely pic's and inspiration here :)

    Decided to catch up on this thread and wow, you have all made some brilliant stuff. I had a look at a couple of blogs so know I how to make the taggy blanket. Must admit my soon to be born grandson is going to have lots of cute stuff. Thanks guys for the inspiration!
