Dont know of a free one, but they do them on
www.youcanmakethis.com as I downloaded a bandanna from there. Ithink I bought it at the time.

To make a childrens apron you dont really need a pattern.
You can just drawer it out on the fabric. And then add the tapes to it. I line mine with shower curtain.:D

Is there a certain size they should be? the aprons?

Let me go and measure the ones I have and I will get back to you.

Right, mine are reasonably large ones, so they cover my granddaughter who is three, from chest to knees.
    I make mine

    Length, 50cm
    Width 45cm
    centre front is 20cm wide
The curve for the arms etc starts at 34 cm from the bottom of the apron. So I make a curved line from the 34 to the top finishing with the 20cm part in the middle. Cutting on the fold keeps them even.
I either turn a hem and add ribbons or tape, or bind with bias tape.
I sometimes add a pocket too. Depends on what I am making them for.

Hope that helps. I also have used pillowcases to make them.

Yes just start a deeper curve at the 34cm mark and take it up to the top. Straightening it off about 3/4 of the way up if you understand what i mean.
Sorry I am not any good at giving instructions.!

Yes, if you are folding the paper/ or the fabric, then fold it, so its at 22 1/2cm (it neednt be that exact) and then it would be 10cm at the top. The curve will be the same, and in the same place.

I was wondering if someone would point me in the right direction for a childrens apron pattern? and bandanas please. I need to raise £2000 to be able to have a new boiler, I do the farmers market every month and sell handcrafted jewellery and as the jewellery selling is slow at the moment, I would like to put my sewing machine to use and make some other stuff to sell, so any ideas would be gratefully received

There is a "sewing room no chat thread" full of links back in the special occasions and celebrations - you might find something useful in there.
