I made 2 bags last week, one for my daughter and one for my cousin :D
I used some denim with hearts for the outer on both but different linings and pockets. I cant show DD's as she ran off with it before I could get a pic but this her lining

This is the bag I have made for my cousin :D

I wasn't happy with this one as the top stitching went a bit wonky but it's ok for my cousin to use for work which she wanted :o
I now have the next bag, a Belle this time, cut out ready for my Aunt when I can sew again :)
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

Forgot to say earlier, hart, glad the op went ok. Now behave and rest that hand. (I have no chance of catching up with your quilt squares otherwise :D!

Yes, I echo the others, get well soon, and dont over do it or you could ruin the good work the doctors have done!

My arm is really bad today, after all my working/driving and the like so no sewing for me today either:o! I should learn to pace myself better.

I have lots to work on for my Business Plan, and lots to work out in the ideas/costings etc. Business links guy, (funnily enough someone from my old village who knew me!), has said that I must not price myself too low. that is the downfall of underselling your self, as once you charge a price that is too low, then you cannot put them up, as this would mean customers would not return! Something to work on properly before I do start to do anymore things.

right time to get DGD out of the bath, and up to bed.

    Night all.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Hart44 - do you use a purchased pattern for your bags, make them up yourself or follow an online pattern/blog. I love this last bag, would be great for my neice who is a teacher and has to carry books back and forth to school for marking.

Saw a magazine yesterday at Hobbycraft - Popular Patchword Handbag Special. Unfortunately it was sealed so I couldn't look inside it. Has any one got a copy? If so is it worth buying for the different bags or are the patterns very similar and all just tote bags?

    Any help is much appreciated.

Ailsb, can't help with the mag but I bought this book which I would really recommend, and when you look at the price of mags it doesn't cost much more!
Oh dear, here we go again.
