Go to Forum Search tool at the top green line of the page, and then type in sewing room no chat thread, and it will lead you right to it. Thats what I did anyway. Then I used the subscribe to this thread tool so I get it up in my Quick links.
    Hope that helps.
Hope the aprons worked, and that you can use the left overs to make a few other bits and bobs.

Wow some lovely stuff on there, I wouldn't mind having a go at basic quilting, fab way of using all the odds and end fabrics, not that I have any at the moment, I'm using a pair of curtains mum gave me to practice sewing before I bought material, incase I couldn't do it.

Best explain a bit better, I have cerebral palsy that affects my right arm to movement is very ltd, But I surprised myself yesterday that I can do it :)

A friend has asked me to sew 20m of bunting for her if she gets the fabric and asked how much I would charge.
I said £10 but it would be more if she wanted anything complex like appliqued letters, scolloped bunting etc
What do you think, does that sound ok? 20m is a lot of sewing!

I don't think 20m is too much sewing, it's the rest of the faff that comes with it. Cutting, pressing, folding, pinning etc.

Was reading about a Chinese man who lost both arms when little. When he was 12 he taught himself to paint with his mouth and feet!
His work is very sort after. It's amazing how people can adapt.
