Lovely bits Dizzytina
Thanks Pootle for your advice. I decided to go with some fusible interfacing I have and it seems to have done the job pretty well. I think fusible fleece would have been too heavy so it's a good compromise!
Anyway, finished and ready for our trip to the park tomorrow

What a busy day you all had yesterday
I had to read lots this morning :rotfl:
I love your phone case and tissue holder Dizzy :T and very clever of you to add the lip balm too. It is on my list of makes too
bexter the backpack is lovelyyour little one will be looking so proud to have the bag to carry
PootleI am so glad you liked the little ring holder
as you have just got engaged I thought you would like somewhere to put your ring if you ever needed to take it off
I spent yesterday makeing 5 make-up bags for craft mum day gifts, I am going too make matching tissue holders, ring tray and a simple little card holder and wrap them in cellophane and keep my fingers crossed they sell on the stall 23rd of this month
I started making myself a bag but the day goes too fast so didn't finish itGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Lovely makes Tina. Your owl fabric is really cute! (and thanks so much for doing my hexies for me! No need to apologise about timings. Im not in any rush for them.x)
Bexter - your backpack looks brilliant.
Google Blogger isnt working right so I can only see a minimal number of posts when I log in (supposedly its a global problem they are working on but very annoying as I hate missing out on what people are doing - and I follow 265 blogs so I think Ill be missing out on quite a bit.))

I mostly follow blogs on weeknights and catch up on what everyone been doing and do most of my crafting at the weekend unless Im doing stuff. When I get home from work i cant really be bothered getting all my crafting stuff out (dont have a craft room yet so need to tidy it all up again when Im finished). I never used to work so I had all the time in the world and built up my fave blog lists. Cant wait for the day that I can give it up again!!0 -
Dizzy, I love those little bags. They would be perfect for sanitary items for young girls (my friends have girls of that age and it's hard to find a discrete little bag that they can take to the loos at school with them). My random thought!
Bexter that is a cute bagBet your DD will love it.

I am about to attempt a hoody top for a leopard costume for DS (made a bumble bee yesterday and will post photos soon).
I have a top I can use as a pattern but if someone could give me a basic step by step, as in what I sew together first, I would be really grateful. I am wondering whether to sew the sides and shoulders before adding the sleeves or to sort of attach the sleeves and then sew up the sides?
Don't need to worry about the neckline as I am doing a hood which crosses over at the front in a sort of V.0 -
