  • Welcome to the thread Nimbo! I never buy patterns for my bags either. I always just use tutorials or deviate as I go along. Looking forward to seeing what you make. x

Pennib, I love all your sock monkeys as you know but Titchy is by far my favourite. I love him!!!!

Does anyone think we should start a new Sewing Room Part 2 as this one is getting quite big now!!

Thank you all for your advice on the tutu. I have re-done it and it's not perfect but I am happier with it and I think my daughter will be happy wearing it to her ballet class now! I've not got any pics yet but will try to take some at some point and show you.

In the meantime, here is my last project, a little dress. Excuse my daughter's face, she's at that age where if you ask her to smile for a photo she either looks like an axe murderer or like she's in pain!

your comment made me chuckle, as my little girl does the same as soon as you put a camera in front of her, these odd faces just happen!

anyway she looks great and well done at saving the tutu

well a variation on it as my pieces are different cols so doing blocks of one color and cream as background. I did one a year ago which I gave to mum as turned out it was a bit short for my bed!! I was gutted but she loves it so guess its meant to be!! Im currently in the cutting stage but realised that my rotary cutter is blunt...grr...will do for now though!
Looking forward to getting to know you all in the months ahead!
Bexterwho and others with girlies there are some gorgeous quilts and cushions here...

Ah, there it is! The light's a bit rubbish for taking a photo, but hey! I love it but I think it's a bit big for me. I think I'm going to try the Buttercup bag next.

Thanks for your comment on my blog - I'd comment back but I don't think it works like that on a blog, does it?

    great bag well done

the inside and outside fabrics are not the same but similar colours and not great photos as taken at night but fun and easy to do.
