I don't think it's me that's right, more likely to be one of the people who answered after me ;)

I've looked on Google too and I can't even see the machine on there, never mind the instructions...

I would un-thread the top completely and re thread, going from the thread spool and then through any eyes at the top (sorry do not know your machine so doing this in my minds eye. Then if you have a tension disc, ( around thing above the needle) the thread needs to be brought down to the right side of it, brought upand around so it chatches inthe centre of the tension discc and then hooked up then through the eye at the top of the arm that goes up and down. YOu should then in fact have made your thread travel in the shape of a large N. the thread is then pulled down and thread through your needle. (make sure your presser foot is UP when you do this or you will not get the correct tension.

then pull the the thread through to the back of the needle with about a four inch tail.

Now take out the bobbin and replace it whilst catching the tail of this thread in the small groove in the case that the bobbin sits into.

Then bring your needle down (with the hand wheel at the side) when the needle comes back up - pull the tail that went through the needle, it should in theory have caught the bobin thread (in a loop) and then pull both threads to the back of the machine.

Good Luck and Hope this helps.

Can you use any fabric for the purses? Only I've got some curtain samples and each square isn't enough to make a bag, but I could makes purses with them if they're suitable. The curtain material is a bit fray-like. They have lining too, don't they?

Hi nykied :D I think cotton fabric is better to use as you have to make a small lined bag and sewing around the top is a bit fiddlely
This is a better tutorial for purse making, they are all the same as you have to make your own pattern acording to the frame you have :)

Love the little man in his bed and the lovely cushion, well done ladies xx

I am doing another embroidery, doing another poem to go on a cushion, just emboridering the words onto a piece of cotton first then will add a border of some description and havent thought about the other side yet. Have managed to get this one so its not so wonky, I wrote the words first on a piece of A4 with some lines underneath showing through so I got the words straight and then traced them onto the cotton fabric with a quilting pencil. This cushion is going to be for my brother for his 60th birthday in June. There are 8 lines on the poem and I have done 3 of them so far. I wont be putting a pic on my blog as he has access to it so might just put a pic on here instead but will wait until its finished.

wow - love all the work....

would love to join in, and tonight i have decided to take the plunge and sew rather than catch up on the thread....

i have got to about page 230 ish....

so my aim for tonight after doing the shopping, and then some cleaning is to get mu bottom in gear and sort a pattern for a bag out....

i have seen one i like - -but won't pay £10 for it as it looks really simple to draw out.... (i'll rue the day i said that i know...)

then after i have sewn that i need to sort a pattern for a top that i have just bought.... - it's tight across the boobs - as i am rather well endowed, however i will make one that fits, although i couldn't find any fabric that was as nice as the original - it's covered in butterflies, and ladybirds....
