I see now how to follow going from here. Is there a way to follow from my blog, using the pictures of people who are following me?
Lol, your not the 1st to follow themselves. If you go onto someones blog and want to follow them there is a follow button there (usually above or below the other people who are already following that blogHope I have been clear

Open your blog then in a new window open the blog that you want to follow and copy their link then go into your dashboard on your blog, click add then paste the link you have copied.
Ideally, you should be able to press the "follow" button on the persons blog but sometimes it doesnt work and you dont get updates. Hope that makes sense!!0 -
Thanks, I see now, you were clear enough for my tired brain. Hehe...0

I aint really got my head round it either! Still need to read the book my OH got me for Xmas. Its all a bit new for me and although I know bits I still think its a minefield! At least you have a banner on your blog that has an outline. Ive just got some cr@ ppy text!! :rotfl:0 -
somehow (Ihave forgetten how) I managed to put a "subsribe to blog" thingy in my toolbar on firefox. So now If I am in a blog I like, I can just click subscribe in the tool bar rather than looking for the follow me button.
Something that stills baffles me is the differences between "subscribing" and "following". And also some of the blogs that I follow only show up in google reader and others only show up if I go into my blogger acount and some show up in both!!!!!0 -

I'm the same, I use Google reader to look at my blogs and I generally only follow to enter a giveaway:o but I'm never convinced what the difference is. I think its easier to find out how many people are getting updates to your blog via following therefore easier for marketing and advertising which is why you always have to follow for giveaway. You can see if people are using google reader but its not so clear. I was thinking yesterday maybe I should just follow everyone and then it will still turn up in google reader...0 -
Hart you're sewing space is fab, I'm trying to get T'other half to let me use some of our converted loft space for my sewing corner, its full of his junk at the moment.
I hate having to drag the machine out from under the stairs and then put it all away again after. Means you can't really just nip on the machine for an hour or so.
Nykied well done on starting the blog, I'm totally clueless with blogs & don't understand the following thing at all, I just save the ones I like in a favourites folder and check them when I can remember0 -
Nkyied, well done on the blog xx0
