Just been shown the most fantastic christmas bauble that has been hand made using Prairie Points.

I'm desperately trying to find some sort of tutorial as it looks so fabulous. Has anyone ever come across anything similar?

(Photobucket is playing up so I can't p[ost a pic)

Hi everyone :D, hope you are all keeping busy sewing :D.
Some more sewing from me (I seem to be a bit like buses, nothing for ages then loads together :rotfl:)

The hearts are held together with a heart button and I love sewing the pleated wash/make-up bags, I can do one in about half an hour (that's very good for me :rotfl:)
I had a small piece of Mabel Lucy Atwell type fabric so managed to do two frame purses with it, I lined them with turquoise with white dots fabric :D

Wow Hart, you are like a whirlwind at the moment!:rotfl: You have made loads and loads of lovely things!:T:T:T

I seem to remember seeing a tutorial on here for sewing a bag insert (that you move from bag to bag rather than moving all the rubbish) on here but I can't find it. Can anybody point me in the right direction please?

Hi all, anyone fancy being a part of the Olympics?
Quilts 4 London are trying to get as many people involved making pennants for each of the athletes in the olympics.
this link is for the web site where you can see examples of pennants people have already made.

this link is for the instructions on how to make one.

The closing date says DECEMBER 2010 - has it been extended?

  • Lovely makes Sue (you know how I love your purses - the one you kindly sent me is used on a daily basis :))

Rikki, you could try this site. Loads of bags although mostly casual but there are some clutches and evening bags on it.
