Thank you:) Pootle after DH did the first, swore at me and disappeared up the wooden hill...I had a go.I used a piece of wool attached to two safety pins.I guess much the same as a loop turner (shall have to investigate that).
Im going to spend today "caking",so no sewing today...but I have some lovely satin and brocaded organza in my wardrobe to think about. It was meant to be turned into my wedding dress but I ended up buying a dress instead.0 -

Hi everyone
, hope you are all keeping busy sewing
.
Some more sewing from me (I seem to be a bit like buses, nothing for ages then loads together :rotfl:)
The hearts are held together with a heart button and I love sewing the pleated wash/make-up bags, I can do one in about half an hour (that's very good for me :rotfl:)
I had a small piece of Mabel Lucy Atwell type fabric so managed to do two frame purses with it, I lined them with turquoise with white dots fabricGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Thanks HMO Ive already stitched the bottom of the lining:(
But that really does make sense so I might consider unpicking;)
If I decide I cant be asked-I'll be sure to do it that way next time. I did this one with interfacing-but I'd like to do some more without for shopping totes. The funny thing is I wanted to finish this because I want to learn how to knit.So I made myself a deal (on Friday) that if I finished this bag I would let myself buy some knitting bits-because Id have something pretty to keep them in...but now Im hooked on my sewing machine again:D
no problem glad you understood what i was saying0 -
