Hi everyone
,
Just popped in to say I would love a denim patchwork cover and show you the yellow and green pachwork quilt I started in September, I managed to finish it just before xmasit took me far longer than the others I have done as work keeps getting in the way of my sewing
Anyway it stared like thisand now this is it on my bed
It was mostly made of sheets and duvets cut into 5'' squares that I have had lurking about the house for ages
I put a pale green binding around the edge
thats beautiful, well done :T0 -

Beautiful quilts Midge and Hart... I haven't attempted a quilt of any description, but I'm toying with the idea.
This is my latest make, a joint project with my daughter...
She wanted to make something out of felt, so I had a search on the internet and came up with this.
I made the doll and she made the clothes.
There are more details on my home page.
Cheers

OOOOOO they are so lovely!
I have the Australian magazine with that house wall hanging - I was hoping Santa would buy me the subscription for Christmas but he said that the credit crunch had also hit the North Pole this year
I still have all my lovely vintage linen waiting for me to do a sampler quilt like yours but I am a bit "quilted out" at the moment and want to get tome other projects done before I attempt another quilt. (although when I see yours & the denim ones earlier in the week it is very hard to not get tempted!):rotfl:0 -
