    Hi everyone :D,
Just popped in to say I would love a denim patchwork cover and show you the yellow and green pachwork quilt I started in September, I managed to finish it just before xmas :o it took me far longer than the others I have done as work keeps getting in the way of my sewing

Anyway it stared like this th_yellowsquares-1.jpg?t=1296164882 and now this is it on my bed :D

th_yellowquilt1.jpg?t=1296164882 It was mostly made of sheets and duvets cut into 5'' squares that I have had lurking about the house for ages :D

th_yellowquilt2.jpg?t=1296164882 I put a pale green binding around the edge :D

    thats beautiful, well done :T

Beautiful quilts Midge and Hart... I haven't attempted a quilt of any description, but I'm toying with the idea.

This is my latest make, a joint project with my daughter...
    FeltDollsml.jpg

She wanted to make something out of felt, so I had a search on the internet and came up with this.

I made the doll and she made the clothes.

There are more details on my home page.

    Cheers

    Sarah:D

Midge your quilt and cushions are beautiful :T the wall hanging looks great too, Ive not attempted any thing like that yet.

Sarah loving the little doll :D I have been thinking of making a ragdoll for my grandaughter for a while now :o I real must make it.

Im still sewing bits for my craft stall in March but Im running out of ideas for mothers gifts :o I have made some purses, small gift size patchwork bags and small patchwork cushions. Im now makeing some twin hearts (a small heart attached to a big one with a heart button) like these I did last year :D

    OOOOOO they are so lovely!

I have the Australian magazine with that house wall hanging - I was hoping Santa would buy me the subscription for Christmas but he said that the credit crunch had also hit the North Pole this year :(

I still have all my lovely vintage linen waiting for me to do a sampler quilt like yours but I am a bit "quilted out" at the moment and want to get tome other projects done before I attempt another quilt. (although when I see yours & the denim ones earlier in the week it is very hard to not get tempted!):rotfl:
