I'm not getting at anyone as I'm sure that people with Kindles think they are brilliant, but to me they are the book equivalent of a living flame gas fire - looks good, but hasn't quite got the magic of the real thing

No, I agree with you. I got my Kindle as a Christmas present and it's great for taking on holiday, as I would usually take at least 6 books for a 2 week holiday, but I much prefer proper books. I've got shelves and shelves of them and they'd be so hard to give up, especially when I've got them in rows of books by the same author.

i love my books i also would use it for holidays but nothing beats flicking through the pages of a real book

Talking of books my new Martha Stewart book arrived today and I've had a quick flick through and it seems great. Don't know how much I'll make as I haven't made much recently. I made a couple of noticeboards but it didn't actually involve sewing.

Hi everyone. Sorry to be a pain...but im having a 'mare! I feel old! And Im only 26! Im trying to set up a blog so that i can put my progresses on there, sewing and things im "shabbying" and also to follow you guys with your blogs to be nosey at what youve created! But im finding all very alien, no idea what im doing whatsoever! Any advice would be very much appreciated : )

Ive sort of set up a page, and have gone onto some blogs to follow, and says ive done it, but then when i click on my dashboard and under blogs im following, it says "you are not currently following any blogs"... did you guys just muddle your way through setting one up? I feel so out of the loop with all this blogging malarky!

LOL! I did just literally lol! Aww bless ya. Sounds like me! Its a nightmare isnt it! I wouldnt mind, but there will people out there more than twice my age who will have set one up no problem! I feel ridiculous!
