Hello- sorry to but in but I've spotted these machines toyota jeans plus £87.96 after 20%off or the toyota jeans £84 after discount, there are quite a few in the sale most would have a discount. I am tempted by 1 of the toyotas but really not sure, I got a machine out of Lidl's about 7 years ago & never really got on with it, would anyone be able to check these out & recommend 1 are the prices good? Thank you so much in advance.

One of them seems to do 1/8" and 1/4" but the other has what looks like a guide to run your fabric along. Can anyone help me choose please. I havent done any quilting yet so would prefer for someone who knows about it to give me their thoughts before I buy. Ta. x
i am not an expert but from what ive seen on the net and read about most quilters use a 1/4 inch seam.
so if your planning on doing alot of quilting i would go for that, but check your machine you may be able to set it already for 1/4.
on mine i can set 1/4 inch to the left or right just by choosing a stitch number so dont need a foot.
hope that helps0 -
Bunny - lol thank you have bookmarked it to have a proper look tomorrow.0

Then it started doing more and more loops until now it seems to loop all the time underneath. I have taken the bobbin out and rewound it, changed the needle, cleaned out the fluff etc. In the end today I rang the helpline and a man rang me back told me to check I was threading it properly, I thought I was so he talked me through it on the phone and I did it exactly how he said but still looping up at the bottom. He said someone will ring me on Monday and arrange to pick it up to have a look.
Was just wondering if anyone out there has had the same problem and might know something else I could try between now and Monday? I dont want it to go back and be away for weeks only to be told it was something simple.
Are you using different thread than you usually do? Sounds like a thread or tension problem (albeit Im no expert!) Is your tension set at around the 4 mark? If not then try altering it. If that doesnt work then change your thread and see if that helps. Sometimes threads that are of a different quality can make a big difference to your stitches as they are stretchier than other threads. x
Edit: Thanks HMO
Edit again: Sorry Rufus, just read your other post and Nykieds post after I wrote mine. If it aint tension or thread then Im stumped.0 -
Hi, could anyone help me? Does anyone know if there is a free online pattern for a rag doll, I'd love to have a go.0

Morning everyone,
I haven't posted on here since Christmas as i have been mad busy. I'm off to catch up on what you have all been doing but just thought i would show you a bib i made for my sister in law who's baby girl is due next week. I was a bit dubious it would be pants but it has turned out fab so i'm going to make some more. Instructions on my blog of how i did it if anyone wants to make any (they only take about half an hour).V 12500 B 8300 N 1900 Oct £51/£1550 -
Thanks Pootleflump, I woke up in the night wondering if it could be the thread, I will get it back out of the box and try it with a different thread and see what happens xx0

I had a similar problem with my old machine Rufus - one particular kind of thread just made it go loopy.
