Well i have finished my first few sewing projects. I had a brandnew sewing machine that my hubby bought me just sat under the stairs for about 5 years so i am finally making some use!!

I have made 2 sock monkeys and a fabric file for my friend who has just set up her own business. I am also half way through a fabric dolls house:D. I'm still not great but i am proud of myself for what i have managed so far.

Piccies of my fabric file here:-

  • Wow some great crafts! I love all the piccies.

I have finished my 'quilt' - I use the term loosly but I think it may qualify as a VERY basic quilt! It's for my friend who has an 8 week old - though it would be great for her to lay on the floor.

It doesn't look wonky to me it looks fab. If I had a baby I'd love to get something like that rather than baby clothes they soon grow out of.

Well girls, I have just added some long lined curtains to my blog with a tutorial. It's not great and it's back to front, but hopefully some of you will have dusted down your machines and make some curtains. I refuse point blank to buy them now I know how to....
