Well girls, I have just added some long lined curtains to my blog with a tutorial. It's not great and it's back to front, but hopefully some of you will have dusted down your machines and make some curtains. I refuse point blank to buy them now I know how to....

Your curtains are fab, curtains are the first thing i ever made, they are so easy and when you see the prices they charge for them it makes me feel sick.

That is one of my projects for this weekend, I bought a lovely ... how to describe it .... clicked silk, antique pink duvet set in the sales last year was reduced from £70 to £10 - king size! So I bought 3 sets and I plan to make some curtains and throw cushions out of the other two sets.
Lets see if I get round to it - my plan was to make them in time for christmas :o

jollymummy I will be up your neck of the woods in a fortnight, I'm going to "Soap School" for a 1 day course to learn the secrets of making handmade soap. I can't wait:j How I am going to fit in soap making as well I have no idea, might have to start another thread:rotfl:,

ETA - I forgot to mention that I am intending to grow my own fruit and veg as well this year, just ordered a book off Amazon. Wonder what the odds are of me getting all of this done! lol

With everything else you do you must have discovered a time machine - how on earth do you find the time to do all this?
