I have a book obsession! I have been lovingly informed that I mustn't buy any more books until I get rid of some. But I can't get rid of old friends (Books!)

So - I wonder if a folder full of freebie printouts would count as a book ;)

    Thanks :) xx

I know what you mean, I love books too :D
The freebie print out folders are a great idea, you could put pic's of your makes on the front covers :D

Here are the things I made this weekend (Im fed up with painting so gave it a rest)

This bag is big enough for all my shopping :rotfl:

I need to make more of these cubes as I have tons of fabric and Im running out of storage, they are so easy to make :D

I also spent some time cutting more squares for my next patchwork quilt, this will be for my DD :D

Ebay :D there is loads to choose from there. I brought mine from my local fabric shop but not sure how close or how easy it will be for you to get to one :o

You could buy a canvas belt perhaps from a charity shop and use that :o

Just found this on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Job-lot-webbing-15m-total-/120619740083?pt=UK_Crafts_Sewing_Supplies_MJ&hash=item1c157f2bb3

I would love to make the bags too :) thank you for the link Rikki :D

    Hi all,

I've not yet got my sewing machine out this year (heavy old Singer that needs more space than I possess atm) but have a growing pile of making and mending projects to do when I decide to go for it. Meantimes, I'm washing and ironing my stash of fabric which still smells a bit fusty after having been in store after our house move a year ago and I've been doing some tiny patchwork projects.

I'm hoping to produce some clothes/craft-type stuff to sell and I'd like to find the answer to whether there is a legal problem in using commercially available patterns to do this. If I couldn't use a pattern as it stands, would it be OK to modify it a bit, ie change the pockets or neckline, then sell it because it would incorporate some of my design?

    Many thanks
    B x
