Some gorgeous colours there Pennib - I've got lots of inspiration at the moment but no enthusiasm. I've got suspected Glandular Fever and feeling utterly pooped, can't even crochet as my hands are too sore so I'm making an every growing list of things I'm going to get round to when I'm feeling up to it.

Can I ask those of you who make bags where you buy your fusible fleece please?
A friend is looking for some that isn't hideously expensive so I said I'd ask.Jack of all trades ... Master of none

Hi Cuddles
Ive PM'd you re the cat.
I find fuseable fleece expensive too so Ive just used either 2oz wadding and stitch it onto my main fabric first or for the last bag I used just normal fleece and stitched it on as well. When I used the wadding I ironed it down onto my fabric first (with a teatowel over the top of it) which squashes it onto the fabric a bit. I did find some fuseable fleece yesterday which is a bit cheaper than some of the others Ive come across and actually works out the same price as the fleece I bought (about £6.50 a metre) so I think I will give them a go next time.
Sue, I cant wait for the book!!! Have you seen the new tutorial for the pleaty bag on her blog - looks brilliant. (Good to hear you back sewing again - looking forward to seeing your piccies)
Pennieb - Love your fabrics.
Pooky, hope you feel better soon. x0 -

Oh dear - I only came in here for a look around, and I've ended up buying the bag book! No self discipline! Still they will make nice xmas pressies
(Guess what I am doing for the next few weekends!)
So hello, here I am - what other books do I need to buy

I have a book obsession! I have been lovingly informed that I mustn't buy any more books until I get rid of some. But I can't get rid of old friends (Books!)
So - I wonder if a folder full of freebie printouts would count as a book
Thanksxx

Poor you - we'll always get more books, even if we don't actually have the space for them - we are all book lovers in our house (we have at least 1,000!)
Re the printouts - what I'm doing with mine is putting them in separate plastic bags, labelled, then they fit perfectly with my paper patterns. The plastic bags which things like vests and shirts come in from M&S are perfect as they have ziplock tops. Actually the vest ones I got for my DD2 nicely fit folded A4 paper and are roughly the same size as a bought pattern.0
