Thanks rmac its socks. Is garment technologist the new name for sewing machinist!!! Like it sound really posh!
The mind boggles with all the different machines about. I just ordered a basic one that has a drop feed so I can
do machine embroidery from Tesco for £65 ish. Will let you know how I get on. The one I would really like is £2000
as well Mooloo.....oh well we can dream! (probably need a computer course to learn how to use it!)

garment technologist - as far as I am aware she is involved in dealing with the suppliers of clothes, testing the samples they send her, specifying stitching/threads used, washing the clothes to test their strength/durability/washability, ordering, a bit of design work (on the more practical issues), sizing garments, testing items returned by customers and according to my sister moutnains of paper work:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

right - I've found a really nice tutorial for a crayon roll and want to make it for pencils which are longer. I'm taking the plunge and adjusting the measurements to allow for this. I hope this works - its the first time i'm winging it!

Looking forward to see your kitchen hun - I would like to do ours - the cupboard doors are one colour which I am happy with but I dont like the pine units themselves - they are a horrible orangey colour so I keep wanting to paint them - poss a green colour to complement the distressed cream doors - sounds of it the amount of time it takes the doors wont be the only things to be distressed!!!!! - One day I will get to it

have just thought of something - back in a mo

r.mac; Thanks for clearing that up. Thought I was going to have a new posh name!
Your sisters job sounds very technical.

danemi1; Love your make it's lush and the material is gorgeous.
That dolly in the cup is funny, that quote is sooo right. Think I will put that up
in the kitchen! Are you going to have a bash at making it?

Hester; Your pocket piggy is lovely and the monkey, are they for anyone special?
