I bought that duvet set. I bought the largest size, cut it down to make a tied bed throw using batting in the middle. By knot 100 I was vowing never to tie a quilt again. It's a bit warm for me at the moment but the dog finds it comfortable for his mid morning snooze.
I made some beautiful bunting for the girls next door but I forgot to take a picture to show you before handing it over. There is still a nice sized piece left and can't decide what to make with that. It isn't very thick but it is pretty.

Here is Barry the Biker no2! He has lots of piercings...including a bellybutton and ear piercing....ouch. He has skull and crossbones and heart tatoo, a watch, chains and red hanky for greasy bikes! The back of his 'leather' has a picture of fire on it.

Maybe I should have said a knotted quilt - don't know really.
I sandwiched the back, batting and top layers as normal and instead of sewing the layers together I knotted them at equal distances.
I'm hopeless at knots so I'm not expecting it to stay together for long.
