    Hi, me and hubby are blitzing the attic ! lol and i found this retro curtain fabric. I think its lush but am at a loss what i can make with it. I`d say there`s 1 curtain length plus a 3/4 length .Its a cotton but looks a bit like linen.
    Any ideas ladies? lol

    I agree. I would make cushions with it. Would be nice having a bolster cushion as well as normal square ones. Its lovely!

    Made a pair of P.J bottoms this morning. Piccie on my blog. (Now I realise I should have made them with vertical stripes rather than horizontal but what the heck - they are really comfy and thats what counts! I look like a Flump for sure now!! x

    I read something recently about stripes, and it said that vertical stripes are not more thinning than horizontal ones.

    would they hang right tho, if you turned the fabric 90degress? the grain would be in the wrong direction

    No, dont think it would have hung right. I meant I should have bought vertical striped material instead (although just read Justamums post so perhaps not!) :D

    Still having probs with my machine, so concentrating on knitting for the moment.

    My grandson is going to have a lovely warm head!
