    hi mumoffour77 - welcome!

I'm also wondering this as I've seen a fab cushion cover pattern I fancy trying (or rather copying from M&S!!!)

Dearme - I have been on this thread for just over a month - you have to be on here for a month to be able to post links (VERY frustrating!) which is why I set up my blog. You can add a homepage (blog)to your account and share photos that way.

I am struggling with my linen top for my son. I have used a linen shirt from a carboot but have had to unpick most of the seams I have sewn GRRR. I didnt realise linen was this hard to work with. It keeps stretching and freying so I am not getting a good finish - hence the unpicking. Maybe I am being too "picky". lol

My fabric arrived from www.craftsandquilts.net and I am really pleased with it. I ordered boho, papillion and a plain pack. The owner even rang to let me know that one of the packs was no longer exactly the same as the one online, even though the website did say that the fabric selections may be slightly different to what was online. So great service & I would reccommend.

taggies: apparently some observant person noticed that babies seemed to like the manufaturers' labels sewn into soft toys more than they liked the toy itself, so up popped 'taggies', with lots of lovely little 'labels' like the ones that babies seemed really to like, and it's true, my granddaughter really loved hers. They are nice with a mix of different sorts of ribbons sewn round the edges (probably not velvet ribbon as not very washable) HTH

    Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone could help me find a manual for a Janome JF 1004? I've had a look on google but every time I get close to one it starts asking for money!

Baby still not here, I have half made about 100 things for it and me, why can I not finish anything!??!!

Hi! Welcome to the thread. You should be able to post links after you have posted 10 times (although maybe they have changed it now but thats the way it was until recently.) If you type your blog address in with spaces rather than a link we can still look at it (or as Tamster says add your home page to your user name. Go into User Control Panel from main drop down menu then go to "Edit your Details" and put your blog address in the space for Home Page URL. When you click on your name it will say Go to Home Page (do it on mine and you will see what I mean.)x

If its thicker crafting felt then poundland are good but if its proper soft felt for making cushions and things then ebay can be quite cheap.

Just write to Janome and see if they will send you one. They were helpful to me, when I needed a screw for my overlocker, (its nearly 14years old). They sent it to me by return of post. Mind you I was lucky it was so small, and they didnt charge me for it, or the postage.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.
