HTH someone
just wanted to say if anybody tries this out, please let us know how it goes. :DThere's so much inspriration on this board and really want to start doing some sewing again. I need to make a sewing to do list!0 -
Has anyone made anything from a Prima sewing pattern? I have a subscription copy of the latest issue and the dress looks quite nice. I normally sew housey bits and I haven't really done any dressmaking before. The page in the mag says some skill required and quick result. So - would it be ok for a novice to have a go at?
And I want to have a go at making a knee length skirt. I love skirts by White Stuff and Boden (although I haven't bought any from Boden yet!). I'm now on the hunt for nice skirt fabric. Suggestions welcome!Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0 -

Hi MollymunchkinI made a simple cover-up jacket from a Prima pattern, it was my 1st attempt at makeing clothes and I found it very easy to do. The instructions were easy to follow and it turned out great
I used jersey fabric tooGetting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a timeand Love sewing

Thanks for the reply Hart. I will bear it in mind as a future project. Just as soon as I've finished the personalised bunting and a tea cosy which I've promised to make. I hope to have a go at it next week, eek!Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.0
