The russian doll fabric is one of the ones I bought, I brought it into work with me today to show my friend and I keep getting it out of my bag for yet another look ~ I have lost the plot!

Possibly a stupid question from a newbie....
I want some muslin cloths for my impending arrival in september. They seem to have rocketed in price since having my son five years ago (along with everything else). I've found some muslin material for £1.99 a metre on cheapfabrics. If i buy it as a continuous length and cut it down, would i need to hem/stitch along the edges to stop it freying or is muslin a meterial that doesn't frey anyway? Thanks.0 -

I borrowed my m.i.ls and found they wernt very good on some fabrics (they were quite old though) so invested in a pinking rotary cutting blade instead which I found much better.
Artydoll I love those pin cushions.
I made a ruffled halter today for my little girl. Pics and the link to the free pattern is on my blog if you want to see:)0 -
Some great makes as usual.
Not been doing any sewing as I have been suffering from a S&D bug which is making me feel rotten.
Love the pincushions artydoll - do you have any instructions or a tutorial?
Shelley - you will need to hem muslin or it will fray.
(Just bought a pack of 4 muslins in Ikea very reasonably, so maybe check there?)Jack of all trades ... Master of none
